I've eaten here twice so far and I have to say, the food is fantastic. However, there are a couple of things that could really improve the experience.
The restaurant is only open for 48 hours a week and closes by 3 PM every day. This limited schedule makes it tough for families like mine to enjoy a meal here. My kids don’t get home from school until after 3, so we’ve only been able to visit twice but have wanted to go several dozen times.
Additionally, both times we were there, I felt a bit rushed by the staff, who seemed eager for us to finish up well before closing. It would be great if the atmosphere felt more relaxed, allowing diners to enjoy their meals without the pressure.
Honestly, I wish we had a different place with more flexible hours in Hillsville. It seems like this spot could be busy more often if it were open later in the day.
Overall, I appreciate the quality of the food, but I hope they consider extending their hours to better serve the community. This location is ideal for this type of business and it seems to be wasted because of the limited hours. Maybe this is more of a hobby than a serious...
Read moreI've been here a few times now to get an espresso drink to go, and I love it! There's really not a coffee shop option in Hillsville, so I was super excited when I saw this place was opening and has a coffee bar. The coffee is great (hazelnut brown sugar latte 🤤), and I never have to wait long for my drink. They have a nice little area with a couch and some chairs while you're waiting, and a lot of the time, they'll bring your drink right to you. Everyone is always super nice, and this will definitely be a regular stop on my way to work. Haven't tried the food yet, but I plan to bring my husband with me one morning to try it. Highly recommend, especially for coffee and the chill atmosphere. Everyone is doing such a great job so far, and I can't wait to see if they expand their drink menu in the...
Read moreAtmosphere and food were wonderful. Service could have been slightly more up to par. Just my son and myself who went for breakfast. He ordered a single pancake and side order of sausage links, and I ordered the chilaquiles. Again, food was perfect when it came down to taste. We ordered probably 10 to 15 minutes prior to a table of four. Our food came out after the table of four and was not hot, more like room temperature. Seemed like it was sitting there for a bit before being served to us. The server was kind of quiet and only came back once to ask if we would like a refill. Never brought us the check nor checked on us to see if we needed a box. Would recommend for food, because it is absolutely amazing, service could be just a little better and...
