Had ordered the Mexican mocha, regular latte, a double burger and the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich... First of all, right when we got to the register the woman at the front left the girl who's first day on job with us and it seemed like she was lost. Then she got us our coffee, the regular latte wasn't terrible but the Mexican mocha was way to spicy even according to my girlfriend (who is Hispanic). It tainted your mouth with a spiciness that wouldn't leave. We had to abandon the entire thing at the table cause of how bad it was. It shouldn't even be on the menu with how undrinkable it is. The burger was good but for the price and a slightly soggy bun it's not worth that much, especially if fries are separate. Now to the chicken sandwich, too much sauce, and a strong garlic taste, it was only finished due to us being hungry but again for the price it really wasn't worth it. And now back to customer service, while my girlfriend went to get ketchup the lady who originally left the girl at the front, stood behind her and didn't let her know that she was getting the ketchup or offer her some of the packets she had under the counter after my girlfriend left (without the ketchup). The new girl was nice but that's about it, multiple things went bad for us and all of it seems avoidable if there was better customer service and training, I would warn anyone before going here, even though it has...
Read moreHello. I was heading out of town from a work trip and looking for burger spots and found Tin and Tallow. I chose it due to being conveniently next to the highway. It was lunchtime, but not busy, huge plus.
I ordered a double smash burger with a side of the waffle cut fries with parmesan and truffle oil.
It was a very nice day so we chose outdoor seating. The outdoor venue is amazing. Plenty of different size tables to accommodate two, four, even six to eight people groups, even a fire pit with chairs all around for relaxing.
They have a large screen TV setup for sporting events. I also saw a stage for live music, although not in use at the time. I could definitely see this spot being very lively in the evenings and during sporting events.
Our food came out very quick, probably 10 minutes or so. It comes in bag, no muss, no fuss. Fries are in the bottom and the burger wrapped in tinfoil on top.
The fries smelled amazing with the Parmesan and truffle oil! The smash burger was hot and fresh, with melted cheese and all the toppings, bacon (added extra)
All in all we took our time, ate, watched TV, and then had to hit the road. If I'm ever back down this way, I'll definitely try and...
Read moreDo not sleep on this place. Wanted to grab a local eat while in town on vacation and came across this gem on Google. Little mom and pop burger shop on the corner with a phenomenal atmosphere and out of this world service.
The food, we ordered a smash burger and chicken sandwich. Both were PHENOMENAL. The smash burger was done to perfection. Seasoned perfectly, crispy edges on a perfectly sized sesame seed bun. Also had one with a fantastic gluten free bun. Most places skimp on the gluten free bun if they even offer it at all. They toasted it perfectly so it doesn't fall apart.
The owners are super friendly, great spot outside with a fire pit, big TV's and even a small play area for the litttler kids.
Pricing Is fantastic. It's tough on vacation to get some good quality food and not go broke. This place offers a fair price and a great product. Well worth the stop and will definitely be back again on every trip we are here. Well worth your time and hard earned money. Big thanks to the owners for the food, the hospitality and the atmosphere. Wishing you all constant success in this place, you've...
