Menu is a little limited, but what's there is great and authentic. Food is always fresh and hot, they make everything by hand (including the chips and salsa), it's spiced nicely, meat is always tender, rice is cooked great, just overall fantastic food. Only thing I don't like about the food is it's just a hair too pricey in my opinion; the Pollo A La Casa I usually get is ~$16 incl tax minus a drink. It's great, don't get me wrong, but I'd be much happier if it was like $9-12, or throw in a can of coke, call it a meal, and charge me $12 or $13 flat.
Staff is always very friendly. Food is made quickly. Easy to walk to if you're staying downtown, at the Guest House, etc. It's half a block from the gym (which has a J1772 Level 2 EV Charger), there's a park less than 50 yards from the entrance if you want to eat take out and sit...

The cheese sauce was creamy and did not overwhelm the dish. The guacamole was fresh and tasted amazing, and the table salsa was some of the best I’ve had.
My husband ordered the Cali Burrito with ground beef. It was huge, well put together but they didn’t have fries - it still did not disappoint, though.

Read moreThe staff were so nice and flexible. Since I can't eat corn, gluten or dairy and my husband eats keto, Mexican places can be hard. But we both found dishes we were happy with. In my husband's case, he had fajitas without the tortillas, which they have, though it wasn't on the printed menu. I thought the beef was extra tender and well seasoned.
The one thing we didn't like was that after asking for water they brought us bottled water instead of just regular, and then charged us $2.75 for each little bottle. Between the cost and the plastic pollution, that wasn't good. So I recommend bringing your own water bottle in with you. And I suggest the restaurant offer tap water,...
