Does anybody in this freaking area, know how to make mexican food? So we went here to eat last night, and I ordered the cheese enchiladas. They werent too bad, so I asked the guy if they sold breakfast tacos. He said yes. Then I asked how big of a tortilla do you use for them ( cause apparently everyone around this area thinks people aren't really hungry for breakfast, and use tiny tortillas). He said the 11 inch like the burritos. So I figured a 10 inch. This morning, I thought I would go get me a breakfast taco. I ordered a bacon- Q like they sell at stripes. I didnt even look in the bag, it felt lite, but I just drove back to the house pulled it out and said omg. It was a 6 inch tortilla with mostly bean. I wanted potatoe, egg, cheese, bean, and bacon. They use french fries, and that just doesn't work like regular diced potatoes. Oh well, guess I'm only going to get Mexican food when I go to visit friends and family in Corpus Christi.

Read moreThey have an extensive menu at this place. This is a great place for burritos, breakfast definitely, lunch, yes, I've also gone in for dinner. The quesabirrias were great. The broth was excellent. We also had the #6 burrito and enchiladas plate. The service was great, you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. They also give you chips and salsa. I also saw they have a drive thru, which is busy. This place also seems to have a lot of to go orders. It's not the cheapest place but our other choice was the taco truck and we wouldn't have gotten the same service or a restroom, not to mention it was 33 degrees outside and we were able to eat our food in their dining room. Needless to say, it was worth every penny, and I'm lucky to have this place so close to us. If you live anywhere near here or passing through, it's worth your time and...
Read moreMe and the wife went out to breakfast to try some place new. This place has been around the corner for a few years now but we never tried it. Upon walk-in, we were left to figure out whether to seat ourlselves or to go to he front and order. The guy who took our order was nice enough and polite. I ordered the chiliquilas and she ordered the huevos rancheros. Mine came out hot but soggy. It was too spicy and the sogginess pushed me away completely. Her huevos rancheros was decent enough. Nice presentation, but not great. Had to ask to have chips and salsa brought out. Then the worst part of all. I went up to the counter to pay after we ate and the bill came out to $32.00!!! I could have been willing to go back and try the dinner if the bill was around $20. But this bill was so ridiculous, I can in no way ever justify trying the...
