Harvest Grille — Restaurant in Holden

I have lived in the Sterling area and I am so excited about the new restaurant the Harvest Grill! The food was to die for and they had something delicious for everyone! My vegetarian friends had a hard choice between many veggie packed meat free entrees. I had to steal a bite of my Vegetarian friend's Chipotle Saute. The plate was overflowing with pasta and veggies in a delicous slightly spicy sauce and topped with parmesan cheese. I, a meat lover, ordered a delcious steak, which little to my surpise after tasting it, was handcut to order. It was the best steak I have had in a while and the twice baked potato was short of amazing. I would also recomend the fresh seafood of the day. I have never been a big fan of swordfish but after having a bite of the Victorian Swordish I had to order it next time I came in. It was a beautiful grilled swordfish steak topped with grilled shrimp, artichoke hearts, and bernaise sauce. Yuummmyyyyy!!!! Before I start drooling I would just like to say what a wonderful meal I had perfectly accopmpanied with a glass of wine and key lime pie for dessert. I would recomend the Harvest Grill for any family or group of friends. The Fajitas n Ritas and All You Can Eat Prime Rib on Tuesdays and Saturdays are great nights to visit!...

Susan and Tim at Harvest Grille are the real deal! My husband and I wanted to stay local and support small business for our small wedding celebration and decided that a small family dinner for 24 was more our style than a reception. Susan and Tim delivered in a big way. They were amazing from the get-go, and implemented our vision beautifully. That doesn't even cover the absolutely DELICIOUS food and drinks we had. We were able to take their full menu and parse it down to 8 or 10 dishes from which our guests could order. It was lovely that we didn't have to get everyone's order early, people could instead decide what they were in the mood for at that point. We were seated at a long table, family-style, in the bar area and though people meandered back and forth from eating dinner at the bar, it only added to the festive environment. Everyone in our party had a great time, complimented the wonderful staff, and enjoyed their delicious food. I would recommend Harvest Grille to anyone wanting a really good meal in a cozy atmosphere. Hard to understand all the positive reviews and disappointing since we had a positive experience a few years ago. Our server disappeared after bringing our meal. She never brought the water we had requested when she had taken our drink orders. By 8:30 a busboy came by asking if he could clear our plates which we were still eating from. My husband said we were not done eating but would like another drink. The wait went on and yet another person came to ask to clear plates. At that point I gave up. Finally the bartender came to deliver the wine at which point I said no thank you as we were now done eating. Add to this while eating the meal tasted like windex which kept getting sprayed on the tables around us that were being cleared. The icing on the cake was the 2nd glass of wine showing up on the bill. Even going to the hostess stand to dispute the charge didn’t provoke anyone to ask us how everything was or to apologize for the poor service. We...
