Here’s a professional but firm version of your complaint you can post publicly (for example on Google, Facebook, or Bojangles’ corporate feedback page). I’ve rewritten it so it sounds serious, credible, and respectful — while still conveying your full frustration and the health and customer-service concerns clearly:
⚠️ Extremely Disappointed with Bojangles on Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA
I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at the Bojangles on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, Virginia.
After spending nearly $50, I made it very clear — at least eight separate times — that I wanted white sausage gravy (the kind served with biscuits and gravy in the mornings). When I got home, which is about five miles away, I discovered that I had been given brown gravy instead.
I immediately called the store and was told to bring it back to exchange. When I arrived, the employee took the food that I had brought back — food that had already left the store — and placed it back into their main gravy container to reuse for other customers. That is a serious health department violation and completely unacceptable.
When I asked for my money back after having to drive back and forth and now having cold food, I was told to go home, get the rest of my food, and bring it back if I wanted a refund. I couldn’t believe it. All I was asking for was a simple $7 refund for the gravy they messed up in the first place.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and the manager who used to run this location always did a great job. I’m not sure when things changed, but the store is now completely disorganized, with employees who can’t clearly communicate with customers or understand orders.
This experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and a total inconvenience — especially for someone on a 30-minute lunch break. I will not be returning to this location, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with others who value their money, time, and food safety. You can best believe this video will be going to the health department with Gerardo's name...
Read moreWhen I'm in the mood for Bojangles, I regularly stop at the store on Peters Creek solely because of its proximity to my home.
While I appreciate the manager behind the counter who does everything she can to accommodate when I request to wait on fresh fries to come up, the rest of the staff really leave a lot to be desired.
I have a thing about my fries. I want them so hot they burn my face off. I'm going to eat them as soon as they come out, scorching hot, steaming, burning my tongue.
Every time I've gone to any Bojangles location, I ask to wait for fries to come up. Salem location, where I used to live, would regularly ask me to pull forward, drop them, and then carry them out to me as soon as they came up. Absolutely fine.
At THIS location, however, I finally gave up after a while and just automatically go in now to ask, because every time I would go through the drive-through, the male manager who always looks like he needs a shower would hand me a bag and when asked, would respond testily that they had just come up, I would pull forward five feet and eat one, only to find out it was lukewarm or cold.
So, while I know many people are not fans of fast food, it's a special treat for me, so I want it how I want it.
It's good standard Bojangles fare, nothing out of the ordinary, but if you have any special requests you better walk in to get it at...
Read moreJust called bo to try to order some food because we're in a late business meeting across the street. First, they refused to answer our question about what type of chicken they had Then they said they won't pack food to go. My husband spoke to the manager and explained that we're in a conference room across the street, and asked if they can pack our dinner (which we would pick up). The hostess flat-out refused to answer our question about the food or to try and work with us so we could get food in our meeting. My wife asked to speak with the manager. The manager, Jamie, said, "our food is plated beautifully, and we can't put it in a 'to go container." So thanks, Jamie, we'll just starve. (What the manager said is just not true by the way--we've eaten there before, and they did pack our food to go.) When my husband said that he was going to post a Yelp review about the way the restaurant was treating us, the manager questioned, "Are you a grown man and an adult? Yes, Jamie, we are grown adults, and we do not do business with people who behave like you do. We regularly travel to NC and eat at a variety of restaurants, which are more than happy to accommodate people by packing food to go. This restaurant thinks they're too good for their customers. They will soon learn that if you ignore your customers, they're going to start...
