What a find! Well worth the drive to Blue Eye to enjoy this place. From the moment you drive into the parking lot to the moment you leave, it is easy to see they have taken great pride in creating a comfortable, inviting place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The porch is inviting and the dining room is comfortable and roomy. Even the detail in the bathroom is memorable! And there are two very nice private rooms available for weddings, meetings, reunions, etc., to mention a very comfortable sitting area up on the upstairs landing! The menu is not huge but has something for everyone. The portions are appropriate and the bakery items look delicious. A nice touch is the free standing coffee shop that has a great selection of hot and cold coffee drinks. We had breakfast but will definitely go back for lunch. They already had the salad bar up when we were there (we got there around 10:30 am and left around 11/30 am) and it was well stocked with fresh crisp veggies and a variety of other salad bar staples. Can’t wait to try lunch!

Connections is one of those places that just feels right the second you walk in. The air is filled with the smell of fresh coffee and homemade treats, and it instantly puts you in a good mood. The people here are so friendly and genuine, it feels less like a business and more like visiting a friend’s home. The bakery case is impossible to ignore. Donuts, muffins, pies, and cakes all lined up and looking amazing, and they taste even better than they look. Everything is fresh and full of flavor, you can tell it’s made with care. What I love most is the atmosphere. It’s cozy and welcoming, the kind of place where you can meet a friend, bring your family, or even come alone and feel at home. There’s a real sense of community here, like you are part of something special just by walking through the door. If you are anywhere near Blue Eye, make the time to stop by. You’ll leave with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a new favorite spot.

We had a wonderful family gathering at Connections. The salad bar was absolutely amazing—fresh, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for both a group meal or a quiet coffee stop. Speaking of coffee—their drinks are amazing! Even if you’re just passing through, it’s worth stopping in for a latte or cappuccino. Highly recommend!

Went to Connections several times in the last couple weeks. The first time I went the food was just okay, service was alright, but two or three of the workers, I'm assuming the owners were in a screaming match. It made me want to pack my stuff up and leave. I decided to try it two more times thinking it was just a bad day for someone. All three times I went, some older lady walked around with RBF, got into screaming matches with workers and had nothing but attitude towards the staff and a few customers. The last time I was there, they seemed short staffed, so I'm assuming some of the staff wised up and got the heck out of that hostile work environment. I Would give zero stars if it would let me based on the way I saw the staff get treated. Just makes for an awkward meal. I...
