Holly Pond Cafe — Restaurant in Holly Pond

My family and I stopped in here on our way back home from mamaws house. We live in Morgan county and on our way back home we decided to stop in here as we were hungry. I remember when this place was getting renovated and today we finally had the opportunity to stop in and try the food for the first time. We had the loaded bacon fries with home made ranch for dipping and was delicious. I had the southern pecan salad with crispy chicken, mandarin orange and it was the best salad ever. One of my daughters had a kids cheese burger with season fries, other daughter had chicken fingers and fries. I test tasted all their food and it was exceptional and I was impressed. My wife also had the fingers and was happy. The wife's aunt was with us and she had a cheese burger with onion rings and the onion rings were good according to her and my wife. Reasonably priced and well worth stopping in, you will definitely enjoy the visit. The food is great and the staff will help in any way that they can, very kind and generous folks here. We wanted a Philly cheessteak and fries. The waitress turned in the order and we waited about 15 minutes then she came to us and told us they didn't have the meat. So we changed our order. Had to wait almost 15 minutes more. My husband had ordered a big bacon cheeseburger with no mayonnaise. When he opened the bun there was mayonnaise. So the waitress took it back and it was corrected. I blame the management for leaving a cook who had only been there 3 days alone. She lacked communication with the waitress and I can make better burgers at home. Will not...

If you're not careful especially going through the drive-thru the waitress will overcharge you if you go around the back a damn door is always open where the food is tell me they don't have rats of mice and probably a damn skunk come here to the cafe the pictures that you see posted there's not nothing like it it's a hillbilly Cafe bunch of farmers that don't really care what they eat I've been there twice I'll damn sure never eat there again I have a pretty good food grade anybody can be bought especially if they work for the State...
