3rd time is not a charm. I've been to this particular store 3 times over the past few months and I have yet to have a simple in/out experience. Tonight was the worst ever. I walked in and customers were standing all around. I hung back from the counter for a couple of minutes to make sure I wasn't cutting line. There were 3 workers at the counter - all too 'busy' to greet me or ask if they could help any of us. I was not the only one who hadn't been waited on so I stepped up to the counter and lined up in hopes that someone would notice and ask if they could help. I saw a few orders sitting on the pickup counter and I was thinking to myself - why wouldnt they call out the names of the people whose orders were ready? No one did. I finally overheard someone saying that their computer crashed and none of the order tickets out so they were not sure what to be preparing (mine was supposed to be ready by 6:07 - it was now 6:30). Found out later from my wife that she was notified our pizza was ready at 6:03 (ha!). Finally got to speak with someone and they were printing off tickets as people identified themselves and putting them through the oven. It was nearly 7 pm when my pizza came out.
I understand that things happen - but it's how you respond that counts. This location is in dire need of leadership and oversight on some level as to how the customer experience is. I will not be going back..I could have driven anywhere and back in the time I spent choosing the closest place...
Read moreWe used to love ordering from Marco’s and preferred their pizza and salad options to other places locally. We ordered tonight for spirit night at the school and have had a pretty disappointing experience. The order arrived with an item missing meant to feed a member of our family with different dietary restrictions. They didn’t call or anything to ask if there was something else they could replace it with. When I called back to ask why it wasn’t sent the assumption was that I must not have placed the order correctly. I confirmed with my online receipt that I did. They said they make the item but it would be better if I can to pick it up since it would be a while before the delivery driver could return with it. Then called back to say they don’t have the item in stock and would I want to cancel it (and therefore have no dinner…). I asked them to make something else. I had to go pick that up and they charged full price and didn’t even apply the coupon from our other order. So now I’ve spent extra gas, extra money, and don’t get to eat dinner with my family on the one night we’re supposed to all be at home together.

Read moreThe food here has gone downhill precipitously. A couple days, the dough was not properly risen. We called, concerned, to make sure something wasn’t wrong with our pizza. They apologized and offered no concessions for our poor meal (which came out like flat bread pizza instead of the original doughy crust - a huge difference). Other times recently it has been extremely sloppy. The last time, the tomato sauce was not flavored correctly. Someone must have left out crucial things like salt, spices and care. We’ve even had discussions amongst ourselves in talks of trying to figure out if it’s an issue related to new management or staff and only trying to order from this location on days when the management/chefs would be the good ones. We actually don’t know how to approach calling the store about that. We’ve also spoken to others in the same deliver area and they also reported similar poor food from this Marcos in the past ~3 months, when, like us, they loved it before. Can the staff be retrained? We amd others are all about to take our business to the other local pizza locations for good. We’ve tried too many times lately with continued food...
