Mudgie's Dairy Delight — Restaurant in Homestead Township

Heading back from Lake Ann and spotted this little ice cream shop and decided to stop- great decision! Lots of great options, from food to icecream- vegan options, non-dairy, and regular ice cream options. The young man at the window was very kind, and patient with my girls as they decided what they wanted. Plenty of outdoor seating (even smaller tables for children), and a drive-thru for icecream if you don’t want to get out. We have stayed in Beulah Michigan, the last three years on vacation. Last year Beulah’s ice cream place was open — this year it was not, not sure why. We googled ice cream places near us, and found Mudgies in Honor. We drove over the first night and had turtle soft serves. It is such a cute place, staff is very nice, good ice cream, and it’s just a 10 minute drive from Beulah! We went a second night and had the hand dipped ice cream, it was almost identical to Sherman’s ice cream !! Just wanted to put a shout out on here about Mudgies!! Highly recommend it....

WHAT A GREAT FIND!!! My friend and I were just passing by on my Harley, and had to stop for a quick bite. I ordered the chili dog 🌭 she got the walking tacos 😋😋 🌮. I had just sat down to eat and Grant the owner came up and said “We take pride in our chili dogs, and I believe my employee gave you a taco dog by mistake.” The chili dog was great, along with the chocolate shake I had ordered.
