Cedar Ridge Cabins — Hotel in Homestead Township

Let me tell you about Mr. Rob, who was hands down the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and stress-free. Even when there was an error on Expedia’s end, Rob jumped in without hesitation, personally making sure our reservation was secured for my birthday getaway.

He didn’t just stop there, Rob offered thoughtful recommendations for places to explore beyond our main destination, the stunning Sleeping Bear Dunes. Thanks to his guidance, we discovered even more beauty and fun than we expected.

What truly stood out was his warmth and genuine care. He made us feel welcome, valued, and at ease every step of the way. This was our very first trip up north, but it definitely won’t be our last. Rob has earned himself a lifetime summer customer!

I found out I had to have emergency dental surgery on the day I reserved to arrive for a two night stay, prepaid of course. I explained what happened however I was refused a refund. I was however offered a different weekend, for THIS season. Which ends October 31st. Our reservations were for the 2nd.. I sent emails stating that really wasn't acceptable. he stopped replying. I realize it's a livelihood. However emergencies happen and the whole experience has changed my mind on these cabins. We go up to Honor several times a year, my large extended family does also, as we have a lot of family that lives in Honor. These cabins will never be a place I stay again. I stayed here with my husband and newborn son for labor day weekend in 2024. These cabins were so wonderful. We recently stayed at such terrible cabins (in Indiana for a weekend) that I wanted to come back here and write a review for how amazing our stay at Cedar Ridge Cabins was. First of all, it was so clean!!! The cabin we were in had very cool furniture and nice touches that we later found out were made by the owner. This place was very well maintained inside and out! There was a kitchen with a sink, fridge, and microwave, and lots of utensils. There was a picnic table right outside where we ate our meals.
