Just had a horrible customer service experience with Pinscher’s Pizza in Inverness. I went on their website and ordered their King Boli. The website had a section where I could order xtras. I ordered ricotta for an extra $2.50. I also asked for extra sauce and some utensils as I was staying at a hotel nearby (it was a little getaway with my girlfriend so we could use the pool). My order arrived 35 minutes later. I opened the box and there wasn’t any extra sauce or utensils. We decided to use our hands and dig in anyway. First thing we noticed was no ricotta. I called Pinschers and explained the situation. The “manager” got on the phone and said they don’t add ricotta to a Stromboli. They only add ricotta to their calzone. Their website doesn’t describe what exactly a king boli is just that it has pepperoni sausage etc. I asked why then does their website have an option to add ricotta to the king boli and why was I charged for it. He couldn’t explain. I asked if he could remake it as a calzone and add ricotta or refund my money. He refused both options and said I could reorder a calzone and pay for it. I went to the restaurant to express my concerns. He was totally belligerent and argumentative and asked me to leave. This was probably the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I live here in Inverness and absolutely will never return. The customer service was horrendous. Businesses with this level of customer service usually fail fairly quickly. I always support local businesses but this place either needs to get new management or suffer the consequences of their actions.
Rick I called your restaurant prior to coming in and spoke with your manager who refused to make good on the item I ordered. I didn’t come into your restaurant to start a scene or get free food. I came in to get what I paid for. I was met with complete hostility by your manager prior to coming in. And if you were on the phone with your manager as you state why didn’t you tell him to remake my order??? Also the police weren’t called. The manager asked me to leave and I left on my own accord. I’ve asked you to contact me directly through Facebook group pizza lovers of Citrus County but you haven’t done that. Rick 95% of the people on that forum agree your restaurant made the error and should have either refunded me or remade my order. Don’t try to twist this I was the mad man wanting free food. Why was I upset to begin with? Because your manager refused to provide what I paid for!!! I paid extra for ricotta. I never received any ricotta nor was I given a refund for the ricotta I paid extra for! I don’t understand how you can...
Read moreIts lengthy, but here's my take: OMGOSH DELICIOUS, OUTSTANDING, N THEYRE DOGGIE PEEPS!! and I know what I'm takin'bout! 😂😂 the new PINCHER'S PIZZERIA..... A+++++++++ AND * (5 STARS) a little bump at first: hubby went in to order the "Buffalo stampede dip", hostess takes his name n says 20-25 mins. He comes back out to the car and we discuss n decide to go ahead n order a pie too... so he goes back in. Mind you, at least 3 parties walked in after him. He comes out about 10-15 mins later n says, "did you see the people coming in after me? Hostess was on the phone, waitress ignored me, takes a party to a table. She comes back again, takes another party to a table, then as soon as hostess sets down phone, it rings again, n I'm still waiting. (mind you hubby is EXTREMELY patient.) Waitress comes a 3rd time, seats others n now the waiter comes n says to hostess "whoever ordered the stampede, were out" she looks up and points to my husband saying "hes right here" as the waiter is dashing back to the kitchen. She says "sorry we're out." Ok!! We leave, no dip, no pizza, nutin! We drive to Winn Dixie and I called the restaurant and asked to s/w manager. Jess (owner) answered the call n I explained to her what had happened, no big deal, I know your very new, but maybe get hostess or "Togo order taker" to get cell numbers for such a time as this. She was so kind, apologetic (which she didnt need to be, we had restaurants n know how difficult it is training newbies) and asked what she could do to make it right. I said, "ooo no nothing, just wanted to let you know". She was so appreciative. PLEASE SHOW GRACE n kindness, it does go a long way!! I was very impressed on how she handled it, I decided to order with her, she gave me a time, and they finished it 10 minutes earlier. AND HOW DID I KNOW, I got a call my order was ready!! LOVED THAT!! I ordered the garlic knots (pic below) and thier description does NOT lie!! Pillowy doesnt come close, these are the best Ive ever had, honest. Also ordered a lg cheese, n so impressed with the pungi-ness of the pecorino mix. They are for sure keepers!! Please show some love n stop by, you will NOT be disappointed!! Oohh n if u are, you do NOT have an enhanced pallet 😂😂😂 just kidding. No offense, but I am very critical of restaurant food, I know what I like, how I cook n PINCHER'S proved they are definitely going to be an EXCELLENT date place for us... thank you for picking Inverness, may you both prosper living your dream, and may you be healthy and...
Read moreFridays they are open later. They shut down the online carryout order service at least as early as 6pm. But you could order for carryout to take place the next day. Upon attempting to call, i was greeted with direct voicemail once, and they just proceeded to not answer the phones the other 6 times I called over the next hour. I know this is the case because I finally wasted my time and gas driving up there and observed them all ignoring the phone. 2½ till closing, I requested to place a carryout order. The girl said that they weren't doing them at that time. I reminded her of what time it was. She responded by saying she can do chicken wings or salads, but they were all out of dough.
She assumed that I wouldnt want chicken wings or a salad to begin with? Just turn me down before even finding out if you have what I want. Cool.
I must assume that they were out of dough, and apparently every store within 5 miles (of which there are several) was out of every basic ingredient used to make dough as well. I guess the dough bubble collapsed?
You couldn't have saved me the time and gas by answering your phone, or even creating an outgoing voicemail message explaining the situation so you can go back to your super busy day or not answering the phones AND turning away cash money that walks through the door before learning if you can serve them?
From the time I walked in the door till the time somebody addressed me was 7 minutes. They acted like I was some kind of business telephone line. And when they did finally say something, they asked if I was there to place a carryout order. This is despite the fact that they were also seating people to dine in. Granted, I looked haggard as hell. I had just worked in 95ⁿ weather outside all day. I was sweaty. I was dirty. But by that point I still had more self respect than to be seen eating at that restaurant on top of my appearance.
This was my first experience and impression of the place. If only one of the issues I listed above had happened, then I'd give a 2nd chance before review. But that onslaught of disrespect just isn't something I can stand behind.
I always hope to see mom and pop, brick and mortar do well in a community. But that requires that they do well for the community. The lack thereof will likely be their downfall if they don't make some changes......
