China One — Restaurant in Honea Path

Note, this location is Now Pickup Only and they have been nice enough to build a Plywood "COVID" Containment Box DIRECTLY INSIDE their entrance doors. So you get to breath whatever the last person in front of you left behind in that unventilated box while you were waiting OUTSIDE to enter the chamber. Now that I know this is like this, I WON'T GO BACK.... the food TOTALLY isn't worth the trip to the kill chamber! I'll go out of my way to go to Belton....see below.

Very average Chinese food. Good option if you set your expectations accordingly and you are in the area with a hankering for Chinese food. Rice is bordering on soggy/mushy and chicken in garlic sauce comes in a brown sauce not a light colored white sauce like EVERY OTHER one I've ever ordered, anywhere. Everything I've ordered here through the years has felt like I needed to add something to it to get some "flavor" going. It's like it's missing something. Sesame chicken is just ok same for the general. Egg rolls are the chewy, tough, greasy and filled with red colored mystery cabbage variety. If you're stuck in town it's an "option." If you have a car I'd recommend driving to go get better food. Yes there better out there but if you are stuck out in NOWHERESVILLE then Asian Kitchen is the Very Clear choice for me. Also don't waste your money at the "hibachi" place attached to Spinx (gas station).... portions are TINY and they are very pricey.... that food is also just "so-so" and I've been underwhelmed and disappointed with portion size everytime.... In my opinion it's well worth the drive to anywhere else if you have a way to get there. No longer any clear winner for Chinese in this area now that the original Asian Kitchen...

My wife and I just moved here two weeks ago. What a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant with delicious food and a awesome selection on the menu!!! Much better than any asian restaurant we patronized in Greenville!!! This will be our GO TO RESTAURANT at least once a week.

Very dirty. Employees children scootering thru the restaurant, the kids were yelling and making a fuss loudly. A lot of unnecessary buffet equipment in the entry way and causes an unsightly appearance. The employees are very friendly and the food is very good. BUT, everything needs to be cleaned and rearranging the tables would make the environment a cleaner,...
