Town Cafe — Restaurant in Honea Path

My burger was actually very good. I won't be going back, though, because sanitation was not to my standards. The same ungloved hands that prepared my burger also tended the cash register. Also, just FYI, they impose a 3.75% surcharge for using a card. I understand that and it's not a deal breaker for me, but the sanitation is. If the owner reads this and corrects the problem, please let me know and I'll give you another try!

Update: After being contacted by the owner promising that my issue had been corrected, I did go back and give it another try. Sure enough, the same young lady was there and was wearing rubber gloves. Unfortunately, she didn't realize that she is supposed to take them off to clean up tables, make change at the cash register, and grab something out of the freezer in the dining area! She only took them off when she went...

👍👍👍👍 This has been a great place to eat, for years and I also had the opportunity to work with. Danny Bell and. Jackie Fleming here in 1993. Yes!! The town Cafe has been around that long and thanks to the customer's and their patronage... and to the great friendly staff... and the great food! I know that it is a 👌 A 1. Restraunt. In. Quality and cleanliness also! Keep up the good work to.,, the new owner Brian, . its still a great place to eat... I love the chicken salad myself... and with me being as busy as I am... I love that I can call in ahead of time and on my way home I just stop by go in and pick up my order and know that I will be satisfied.. and there's always enough that you'll never leave hungry LOL.... thanks for being so fast also... God...

Our 1st trip to "The Town Cafe." We drove up from Greenwood to try it out - for something new. We were surprised by the small size of the building, but they generate some really large/tasteful food. Nice assortment of dishes with a friendly staff. We called our order in as we left Greenwood. They gave us an accurate time for the food to be ready & it was just being finished plating as we walked in. The prices are reasonable. We feed 4 people for under $35 (gallon of tea included). We didn't eat small either. We had a large (2 patty) hamburger steak with a baked potato & slaw, flounder plate and two taco salads. We will be sure to add this establishment to our list of...
