Much larger breakfast menu than the online direct restaurant link gives. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. Got right in with no wait for breakfast. And because we got here right before lunch flipped over they let us order off both the menus! View from the second story window seat looking out over the golf course was so pretty. Napkins were very soft, high quality.
Most bad reviews I noticed were from 4+ years ago so I think their current star count (4.3) is on the low side. I feel they're at least 4.7 based on today's interaction.
Oatmeal was good. Nothing outstanding but also it's oatmeal. Lol. Fresh fruit like blueberries would make it better. 9/10 for oatmeal. Lol.
French Toast was above average. Delicious, but could have used a tiny bit more egg to make it more moist. The blackberry sauce was excellent. 7/10
Stuffed Hashbrowns were everything you could hope for and more. So much inside, not overly salty gravy so it balanced perfectly with the crispy hashbrowns and salty bacon and sausage. Highly recommend. 10/10
Forest Mushroom Melt was amazing. Better than the hashbrowns and the hashbrowns were outstanding. They really stuffed it full of delectable mushrooms and huge, whole garlic cloves. Best thing of the stuff we got. Highly recommend. 11/10

New: Just for accuracy Boots is not my roommate. Boots your former cook rents trailer space on my property. What's unfortunate is you failed to mention I stopped coming in months before you fired Boots. I never left my review because I felt you would use it against him. Read moreWe had a group of 25 set to have lunch in Stevenson this past week. The restaurant we were going to had to cancel our reservation last minute because the hood vents were not working.
The manager of that restaurant called around to other local restaurants, and August, the Executive Chef at Elk Ridge, said that they could accommodate our group on such short notice. (Less than 90 minutes of notice!)
It's no easy feat getting a large group in somewhere last minute. August took time to connect with us, and he was awesome. We had one person in our group with very special dietary needs. There was nothing on the menu that would work for her, but August went into the kitchen and looked at what he had available and provided her a perfect lunch for her needs. She was so impressed!
