Former chef here. I knew as soon as I walked toward the door I was in trouble. 630 pm on a Friday and the place was empty, EMPTY !!! So you think it would be easy to remember 4 drinks right? Naa. They couldn't care less. Then my lime was so dried out I couldn't squeeze a drop out of it. Prob cut limes 3 days ago and left them uncovered in the fridge. Then they said they just sold their last DINNER SPECIAL of rack of lamb. THE SPECIAL. To who? Remember it was empty. Anyways I ordered the other special Mahi Mahi. No exaggeration it was the size of a McDonald's filet of fish for 30 bucks. My clam chowder had 0 clams.. just clam juice. Terrible. The center cut filet was previously frozen. The vegetables were previously frozen. The sirloin was so thin you can see through it for another 35 bucks gimme a break. This place was likely the place to be 10 years ago. No longer. Membership dues to this has been country club now pay the bills here. CLOSE...

The ranch salad dressing tasted like they cut it with vinegar and it wasn't good at all. Please spend a few more pennies, and actually buy buttermilk to make the ranch, it's 1,000 times better. The desserts weren't good - vanilla or chocolate pudding in a pie crust, frozen cakes, "cheesecake" that was no bake something scooped into premade graham cracker crusts, dry lemon cake. Canned cherry or apple pie filling scooped into premade crusts, Awful, seriously. Just not good at all! The WORST thing of all was them running out of regular coffee. How in the world do all but one decaf coffee urn run out at the same time, when there was seating...
Read moreOur waitress was wonderful and service during the meal was great. My shrimp was chewy and tasted overcooked, but I didn’t think much of it. Upon the conclusion of our meal, a man who we assumed was the owner came over to see how everything was. He proceeded to ask us if we watch Fox News, and told my friend (who was there with her 3 month old) that babies like him in Israel were being “cut out of their mother’s wombs and beheaded” so she should be grateful for her baby. It was an incredibly uncomfortable experience and we left immediately after. Unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning from the chewy shrimp hours later, which was especially unfortunate given that I was visiting from out of town and had to travel home. I would caution others from considering this establishment in the future - both due to food safety as well as appropriateness of staff...
