The Spoon has become a great place for me to meet a friend for brunch. The food is good, and the location makes it conveniently accessible to those traveling by on route 495. At The Spoon it starts with the staff, they are nice, witty, fun and happy to help you narrow down to a stellar menu choice. The seating is comfortable and clean both inside and outside, if it’s nice out, take advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu offers the ability to indulge healthily. My first visit I enjoyed the Resilience Scramble which provided the satisfaction of a delicious and healthy meal. If you don’t mind splurging in calories there are plenty of options like the Mac Benny which will fill you up without leaving you stuffed. A gem of a breakfast place, if you’re traveling in and around Hopkinton, it’s worth popping in to enjoy a bite to eat.

Not your usual "diner", not the usual "diner menu" This place was busy with both booths and counter service (all wait to be seated) turning over lots of happy, no longer hungry, folk. I had trouble picking just one thing for breakfast they have a LOT of good options- creative omelets and benedicts, scramblers (bent toward the healthier, athletic, types it would appear), and original bfast sammiches. I had the Breakfast Grilled Cheese with a side of home fries and they were absolutely delicious. The potatoes were also very good, tender red bliss chopped rustically with plenty of crispy bits from the griddle mixed in. (A personal favorite touch) Coffee was just ok but their hot chocolate was VERY good.

Absolutely love this place for brunch. MUST visit for brunch. It is a small place but has VERY efficient workers that keep the circulation FAST. We are usually not too worried about having to wait so much when there are no seats. Once seated, ordering and getting the food is just so smooth and swift. Food is always in great portions and taste just right. ALL. THE. TIME. Absolutely love this place and the crew, will be my favorite local brunch place until I move away. They have seatings inside, bar area, and outside patio. Though it is still a small place, so not very recommended for large groups. You will probably have to split up into groups.

I can only say this was an average place for breakfast. We love going out to breakfast whenever and wherever we go. We have been to good places and bad places and this was right in the middle.

My go to breakfast is some variation of eggs Benedict. My favorite is with corned beef hash. I asked if their hash was homemade and was told no it was from a can. Sorry I don’t do canned hash. I opted for a sausage patty instead. Nothing special there or with the hollandaise sauce. It also came with home fries. They were overally salty and were mushy. As we were eating we saw a plate go by with fried home fries, we both would have had those had we known.

My wife had her standard scrambled eggs and bacon which were just okay although we both agree the coffee was good.

The ultimate test of any place that I do business with is “Will we go back?” In this case...
