I can only say this was an average place for breakfast. We love going out to breakfast whenever and wherever we go. We have been to good places and bad places and this was right in the middle.
My go to breakfast is some variation of eggs Benedict. My favorite is with corned beef hash. I asked if their hash was homemade and was told no it was from a can. Sorry I don’t do canned hash. I opted for a sausage patty instead. Nothing special there or with the hollandaise sauce. It also came with home fries. They were overally salty and were mushy. As we were eating we saw a plate go by with fried home fries, we both would have had those had we known.

Read moreThe Spoon has become a great place for me to meet a friend for brunch. The food is good, and the location makes it conveniently accessible to those traveling by on route 495. At The Spoon it starts with the staff, they are nice, witty, fun and happy to help you narrow down to a stellar menu choice. The seating is comfortable and clean both inside and outside, if it’s nice out, take advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu offers the ability to indulge healthily. If you don’t mind splurging in calories there are plenty of options like the Mac Benny which will fill you up without leaving you stuffed. A gem of a breakfast place, if you’re traveling in and around Hopkinton, it’s worth popping in to enjoy a...

I had trouble picking just one thing for breakfast they have a LOT of good options- creative omelets and benedicts, scramblers (bent toward the healthier, athletic, types it would appear), and original bfast sammiches.
I had the Breakfast Grilled Cheese with a side of home fries and they were absolutely delicious. The potatoes were also very good, tender red bliss chopped rustically with plenty of crispy bits from the griddle mixed in. (A personal favorite touch)
Coffee was just ok but their hot chocolate...
