Big Erv's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Horace

We moved to Horace just over a year ago and have been to both Headquarters and Big Ervs. Newer does not mean better. Big Ervs is hands down the superior go to location in Horace and personally even out of any West Fargo options. Their food is fantastic! I’ve yet to order something that hasn’t been great. Portion sizes have stayed with the price increases unlike other locations in the area. Most recently I stopped here for dinner and had their dos amigos appetizer with the taco meat. I followed it up with the crispy chicken sliders. All of it was great! On a side note, they have almost a bbq seasoning they add to their fries. I've been here before, but it's been a while. My wife and another couple decided to go there for the steak special. Small town, not quite-dive bar feel when you walk in.

The waitress was great, explained the specials and smooth talked us into upgrading out baked potatoes to the bacon and sour cream add-ons. She was at the table enough to serve us, but not enough to annoy us. Although I doubt that would have happened, she was fun to have there.

The steaks were good, not great. But for 10 bucks it was a pretty good meal. The beer was extra cold, too.
