Guadalajara Grill — Restaurant in Horn Lake

We went in for lunch today. We arrived just as they opened. We were greeted and seated right away. We both enjoyed our lunch. It was hot and fresh and was served really quickly! I got the chicken chimichonga off the lunch menu. It came with rice and beans and Pico. My husband ordered a 3 chimichonga platter, one steak, one chicken, one shrimp. He was on an hour lunch break from work, and we were served in that time with no problem. It is really cute inside and very clean! We will definitely go back and try some other things! I’ve been coming here since they first open & tonight I went and there was a HAIR in my food . They tried blaming me saying it was my hair . Which it wasn’t. Then they took our food and said they would make it again and they brought us back the same food they just took from us . All they did was put it back on the grill which we could tell because our shrimp was extra golden ! And I told the manager I don’t know what’s going on tonight but the service was horrible. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Speed of service was reasonable.

Most of the standard Mexican items on the menu but not the usual “flavored for the American palette” sameness.

The fried potatoes that were an option to replace rice or beans came in a flavorful red sauce which included some meat.

Burritos and enchiladas had distinct flavors. Not hot spicy, but definitely noticeable spices. Most of our party of 10 liked the flavors. But not what some expected.
