Otter Creek Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Hortonville

We have been to Otter Creek several times now, each times worse than the last. Last night was the ringer that has made us decide to never return. After waiting for over an hour after ordering and inquiring about the wait, we received tye same excuse as the last two previous visits; "our good cook is sick, so he's not here tonight." While I understand that staffing can be difficult, waiting over an hour after ordering without any other updates, or even a warning upon ordering that there will be a wait is excessive. Our server only visited our table 3 times during the near two hour visit. After my drink glass sitting empty for over thirty minutes I received the comment "there must be a hole in your glass." The. When we had been waiting over an hour we requested our food be brought in to go boxes, and we're subjected to the comment; "if you wanted fast food you should go to Mcdonalds." Then within an hour of eating my perch dinner I ended up quite ill, it's been over 12 hours at this point, so I'm not sure if something was contaminated or undercooked, but that was the only thing I had consumed, so there is a high likelihood it was food poisoning. I would caution anyone to beware of this...

Worst customer service I have experienced anywhere in the Valley. Went for Friday fish and couldn't get a server to even acknowledge us after sitting at a table. My husband had to go to the bar to get a menu after sitting for 30 minutes. 30 minutes after getting a menu, a server came to take our food and drink order. Our drinks never came and we had to get them from the bar. Our food took well over an hour to be brought out to us and that was after we went to the bar to find out the status of our order. We overheard a server apologizing to a couple near us for the wait and told them they would receive a discount on their bill. They arrived after us and got their food before we did. We ordered an appetizer which did not come prior to the meal as it should have. No one ever came back to ask how our meal was, and not surprisingly no one brought our bill so we had to track that down on our own too. When my husband paid the bill, our server told him we had won the "patience award." Very disappointed in this 3.5 hour, $50 deep fried meal. Don't...

Cheesy potato soup was grainy/starchy and not many potatoes,everyone who ordered that said the same thing, also got a rueben sandwich and was asked if I wanted thousand island or mustard on it which is a bit strange ,but not a big deal. But then the sauce comes in a cup on the side and it isn't really enough sauce if you spread it out on the sandwich, but for crying out loud put the thousand island or mustard on my sandwich. Burgers and pizza are pretty good. Fish is good but for the price it should be. Damn Yankees is starting to win me over. You guys aren't the cheapest in town so I would suggest stepping your game up. Also giving a packaged beef stick with a bloody Mary is weird. Just put it in the drink , when u go out to eat I shouldn't have to put my sauce on my sandwich and open my beef stick in my drink. I know that sounds snoody but i always tip well and just want the hands free experience...
