Chipmunk Cafe — Restaurant in Hot Springs

Very pleasantly surprised!! After a nice walk through the gardens we were very hungry. Not expecting many options especially not healthy ones (not saying we ate healthy haha) We got kids pizzas, the raspberry grilled chicken sandwich and the veggie sandwich. All were excellent!! And we also ordered a piece of warm apple pie with ice cream and I am not kidding, it was one of the best apple pie slices I've had. They have salads and a variety of things that looked really good. I had really high hopes for this cafe inside Garvan Woodland Gardens from previous reviews. I made it a point during my walk around the gardens to stop here. The young adult at the counter was very short with me. I got the chicken salad sandwich, which was okay but definitely not worth the price. The kettle chips were not appetizing and had to throw them away. I also got a frozen lemonade, which was not very frozen. Unfortunately, the price for 2 waters and a soda can .....10$ ...... also, staff was unable to keep their emotional distress to them selfsame and complained about customers and other staff....phone was ringing, and they cussed as if a customer was out of line to complain. I recommend you buy snacks and food prior to visiting the gardens. Gardens are a must see everything we are in the area. What a shame that this Cafe brings the...
