My review is on the waiters. I can't leave a rating on the food because my wife and I never got any. It was our 21st anniversary and we been hearing about how good the Charbroiled oysters are and we decided to spend our honorable day enjoying what we've heard about for years. After waiting at the bar for a few minutes without being acknowledged we asked a couple other customers if it's okay to share the other end of the table as it was busy. We understand that and we sat patiently waiting. One waitress them asked if we was waited on, no ma'am not yet. She them told another waitress that we needed to order ,after a 45 minute wait without being asked anything else we decided to leave before our night was a total loss. The waitresses would just walk passed us and not even ask if we needed anything. She would even stop by another table and talk but then pass us by without even making eye contact. Maybe next time ill try to-go...
Read moreThe food truly is amazing.. Good food isnt fast, fast food isnt good. This is no place to go to if you're in a rush. You've got to take ur time. Waiting time to get tables isnt that bad compared to other restaurants in its category, While seated, relax, look around you and see whats on others table, cos that is what will come, but you've got to be patient. It was an amazing and soulful seafood experience.. the staffs were great. It was a 5star experience, I had to rate it 4 cos despite the good food and the large quantities of the seafood. The sides weren't that much. Just a few potatoes and onion tossed i . I would sacrifice some of the crawfish for more potatoes(I need a distraction while getting my hands dirty breaking the shells.. Other than that. It was amazing. Oh. $70 bill for my dinner. Totally worthy, but I'm glad I'm out of town, otherwise, I'll be broke cos I'd want to have it...
Read moreWe are so glad that they are open till 9 PM on Sunday just when we get the munchies at 7:30 PM Sunday night!! We arrived just at 8 PM and were seated promptly and our server Nicole even turned down the A/C that was blowing across our table. While our drinks came we ordered the "After the Boil Soup" (a creamey version of what is in the pot when they boil seafood) and it was very good with crab meat, crawfish tails & shrimp in a cream base seasoned to taste like the water after seafood is taken out of the pot. The entrees arrived Cathy the "Jody's Crawfish Etouffee" & mine the Fried Soft Shell Crab platter. Both of us enjoyed our meal but we saved room for their Bread Pudding and it was a hot thick square and juicy with thick sweet gooey sugar syrup oozing all over and yes it was delicious. Eate here any time after 5 PM dailly till 9 PM even...
