McDonald's — Restaurant in Houma

I went to this location since the one on prospect was so incompetent and overrun with their time being in all red on every screen in the facility so I hopped over here and yes the service was amazing and the cleanliness of the restaurant was good and their times were okay but at the same time one of the boys was in such "good spirits" that he decided he was going to play pranks on the line cook and while the boy was trying to make my sandwich he kept telling him that it wasnt the right sandwich to make and he inevitably ended up messing up my sandwich on accident listening to the boy mess with him about my order so the service and the time ended up not being relevant to my visit there which was why I went because either way it went my food was still messed up. I ordered a steak egg and cheese McGriddle with no slivered onions and it even states that on the receipt the boy was reading from and he put onions not only did he put the regular amount but he got distracted and put double on there as well and as I tried to tell him this he kept going on about his story that every restaurant should have High spirits like that and although I agreed he would not listen to me and kept talking over me. I went in a for a DoorDash order and have never been greeted so warmly by a McDonald’s worker everyone in there was so sweet kind and patient. I happen to go in there at 5:30 in the morning just opened back up so I had to wait for a few moments for a few of my items that I needed to get for the order, the machine for the smoothies was cleaning itself and my customer was not answering whenever I was calling them to see if they would like a substitute. These people were so patient with me so patient with them they were overall the most kind people I have ever met. I have been waiting in there for a few minutes just expecting to grab my food and go. I have been DoorDash for the last 14 hours to pay for my electric bill my fiancé and I had just gotten over Covid so I wasn’t at work for a while naturally my bill got behind. We got clear and I’ve been going back to work. The workers had realized that I was exhausted and offered me something to help me wake up a bit , I was confused. I’ve never been especially by McDonald’s worker I’m not gonna lie usually pretty pissy, but I’m never to judge people. you’re so kind to me and I couldn’t help but think wow this is the first McDonald’s that I have ever felt welcomed in in a long time. There was a long line for the drive thru; about 6 vehicles in front of me. As soon as I got into the line, the car in front of me pulled out of the line and left. I assumed they had been waiting a while so i decided to park and order inside because there was only 2 ppl in line. Well, unfortunately for us, they cater to the drive-thru cars faster than they do inside. So, we actually ended up waiting longer inside than we would've waited in the drive-thru line. Either way, I was not upset because the manager was friendly and we saw the employees working hard. The manager locked the restaurant behind us because he wanted to be able to focus on servicing everyone in a timely manner but he couldn't do that with a full restaurant AND drive-thru. So, he decided it would be best to focus his employees' efforts on one line (drive-thru). I just wished he had locked it before I had gone in, but no hard feelings. The food was fresh to order.
