Every time I visit El Tacopeton I always leave wishing I ordered more. The food is made with tender love and care, and whenever you bite into the food you can taste it. El Tacopeton isn't fast food but instead a second home where when you enter you are instantly welcomed and you get the feeling where you feel like you are at home. They are also very involved with what the season is like, for example during the winter season they had a Christmas tree that was lit and had taco ornaments to decorate it. I also love how clean the restaurant is with workers constantly walking around and cleaning tables and offering napkins or hand wipes are needed. My go-to order is the Queso Birria, every time I order this I always make sure to get seconds, the flavors are savory and matched with the consome it brings a whole new set of colors. Consome is a dip made with dried chilies and is meant to elevate the flavor of anything dipped into it. To top everything off you can order a Mexican Coke bought straight from Mexico and still contains all of the flavor from its homeland. If you don't like the Queso Birria you can always resort back to the basics and order some Tacos de bistec or Tacos de Trompo. Bistec is steak in Spanish and Trompo is marinated pork that is cooked vertically, and the work Trompo is a representation of how the pork looks when it is...
Read moreI would have left 5 stars but let me explain why. The food really was outstanding but they have some flaws. My order was a whole pollo with sides. When my order came out the sides were SMALL I mean barely bigger than a sauce cup. I had to hold my rice hostage because 3 spoon full and it was done. When we walked in it was kinda like we weren’t there at all. No acknowledgment or “buenas tardes” just doing other things that looked like they weren’t doing much at all. Secondly my girlfriend ordered tacos and they forgot. i seen it wrote down on the paper ticket, maybe that’s the issue they aren’t technologically advanced with their system? Who knows. They didn’t say they were sorry they forgot or anything just said it’ll be right out and hushed her away basically. I didn’t like that at all. I also had to wait a LONG time. If you’re going to have customers wait a long time, you should have free salsa and chips. One the men had EARPHONES in and my wife went to speak to him and said that he seemed “Eh” or rude when she spoke to him. For ME, I won’t go back to eat inside unless my wife wants to sit in.

Read moreThe staff is terrible! Just now I called in my order in, i stated what i wanted & she hung up on me. So i called back. First thing she says is “ I dont speak english”. I asked if there Was anyone there who did speak english. She jst kept saying no english. So i said quesabirria very slowly. She says okay. Then proceeded to ask something else in spanish. I told her I couldnt understand her. She then gave the phone to a guy, he took my order. So I go inside to pick it up. As SOON as i walk in, a lady calls someone from the back and points to me speaking spanish. The other lady then goes to the back to get my food(without even confirming it was me) then comes back & asks if i ordered the quesabirria. So i said yes and asked could i add a soda. She rings me up. I checked my food, and asked for more green salsa. She rolled her eyes and walked off to the back. She walks back up to the front, she’s rubbing the 2 salsas off & just throws them on the counter. It took a lot to hold my composure but i just walked away. I’ve been coming here for yearsssss, idk who the newbies are but apparently they are very rude & racist! Food was...
