Lady on the mic in drive thru was extremely rude with an unacceptable attitude. The only thing that tops her bad attitude was how horrible the fries were. Cold and unseasoned... chicken was just fine as expected. Customer service matters! One yr update: In passing, stopped by this location to grab a quick bite. Curbside appeal is all gone, the building, parking lot, and drive thru could all use moderate TLC. The drive-thru windows show clear NEGLECT and lack of care. While the attendant on the mic was much more timely and attentive, this visit the overall quality of care makes the trip a null one. Overall, the chicken was decent, fried crispy, and flavorful. The fries are not as I remember. The brand of potato has definitely changed, and the order received had not been seasoned. The rolls were hot, fresh, and moist. The staff and facility need time and attention invested from the owner and management.

The food was good, but the atmosphere and staff was great! You can tell the employees are led by a fantastic leader, who I later met as Queen Lillie! Lillie has a heart of gold that flows to the people who work with her. Trust is huge in business, and they obviously trust Lillie! My Kings meal was hot, and when she told me that one of the employees personally made the peach cobbler, I had to try it. Sorry I forgot your name, but I will definitely remember how good and tasty your cobbler was. It was no need for me to drive from Pearland to Scott Street. Ms. Lillie and her girls took great care of me. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire Frenchy's staff on Almeda for loving what you do, and being patient with somewhat picky customers as myself. I give great customer service in Mary Kay. Therefore, I know it when I see it. I definitely saw it today @ Frenchy's on Almeda! Blessings!

My friends and I ordered four 24-piece Tailgate packages for our HBCU Homecoming Tailgate from the Almeda Location. I went in a day early to reserve and pay for the order, and I’m happy to say the food was ready on time, packaged well, and seasoned perfectly. The manager was incredibly sweet and accommodating! I will definitely be using them again. I just wish I had gotten the names of the manager and the other lady who assisted me.

It’s sad that I’m willing to travel a further distance to another location when this location is the one I frequent often because it’s literally less than ten minutes away from home. I placed a pickup order today at 12:29 PM through Grubhub for two 3 Piece Campus meals, two orders of two Boudin Balls and an extra roll. Upon arriving at the location, there were approximately six people standing in line. I stood on the right side where the Grubhub and Doordash signs were located. A few minutes later I was asked by an older lady if I were Doordash and I told her I was picking up a Grubhub order. She proceeded back to the register and the area where orders are prepared. Minutes after she asked a young man where another employee was, who informed her that they weren’t there. She then stated she would remove that person from the schedule and told him to take care of me. He walked over and asked for my name and I told him. He walked away and then walked back and asked to see the order. I pulled up the order through the Grubhub app and he said, with an attitude, that he needed to see the details. I pulled up that information and he took a photo with his personal phone. Minutes later he handed me a bag with two boxes and I immediately knew there was something missing. After checking both boxes, the boudin balls and extra roll were missing. He was now busy assisting other customers and I waited a few minutes to tell him what was missing. He opened a pack of rolls and brought one over on tongues and asked me to open one of the boxes. Once he asked the cook to drop some boudin balls, the cook informed him that there weren’t any, he told me that they had boudin rolls (and described them to me). I declined and he walked to the older lady and told her. She yelled, “They gon’ have to take that up with Grubhub.” Once checking the app, I noticed that the order was still “in the works”, so I asked if she could complete the order on her end so I could request a return. She yelled, “You gon’ have to call Grubhub!” I stated, “I understand, however…” (reiterating my initial statement) She seemed confused and another customer begin to attempt to explain to her what I was saying before she interrupted and yelled, “I’m not talking to two people at one time!” and walked away. Keep in mind that this same lady prepared an in-store order for me a few weeks ago and did not display the negative attitude and down right disrespect that was...

LAST TIME coming to this location as I've noticed a change in management....The current owner of this Frenchy's in Almeda seems to be an Indian/Pakistani man in his late 40s/50s...and the quality/service has gone down....Uncooked chicken with blood inside.....NEVER COMING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN.....This is no longer traditional creole fried chicken that is fully cooked with heavy cracked black pepper seasoning.....This is now Indian/Pakistani fried chicken and that won't work for me....This chicken is not cooked ALL THE WAY THROUGH and the cracked black pepper seasoning is not heavy...The chicken is no longer a rich dark brown color....The customers that come here want the chicken to be super fried and extra well done with heavy black pepper.... I'll stick to city locations. This Frenchy's location on almeda is dead to me. I used to really like coming here but I'm officially done with this location AND SO SHOULD YOU...... Frenchy's still makes good chicken but please do yourself a favor and avoid this...
