Golden Chick — Restaurant in Houston

I normally have a good experience with restaurant however this time around it wasn't good experience at all. I went through the drive-thru at 5:36pm and I ordered just a six-piece wicked wings no fries for $4.99 plus tax. The cashier at the window informs me after I pay to drive around to the front and wait 8 minutes that they have to cook them fresh. I oblige and pull around no problem I am ok with that. Well look down at my clock and its 5:50 and I'm thinking to myself okay I think it's past 8 minutes I think maybe they forgot about me let me go inside and find out why my 6-week and wings are taking so long. I didn't talk to the cashier at the front and I let him know that I've been waiting outside since 5:36 for 6 wicked wings if I could wait here instead rather than my car and asked if I could get a fountain drink complimentary for the inconvenience .He turns around and asks his manager can he give me a free drink and his manager says NO. Then I wait another 5 minutes and then he finally hands me my wings at 5:55pm. I said unacceptable to myself and ask to receive my money back. The manager opens a drawer give me my $4.99 plus tax back and then he makes a call me that says that we just barely got the fires going at 5:00 p.m. we just opened I didn't say anything in return about that cuz that's not my problem I walked out the restaurant and I must say that I will never be back again to this...

The food was pretty good but the service is horrible. I was attended by a cashier by the last name Guzman. The name is on the receipt, so I think her last name was Guzman. She is a short Hispanic woman. Apparently she is unable to communicate in the English language properly and after I tried speaking Spanish to her, she continue to speak to me in English. I understand her effort, but the thing is then when she said the wrong communication and I corrected her she got mad and shoved my food out the window. I saw her how she slammed the napkins into the bag and then just tossed the food to me making me a ugly face. Updated 02.01. Four of us got 4 PC finger combo to go. My last "finger" will be most memorable thanks to a cracked tooth. My fourth finger had a bone in it!! Ouch. It did not look like a wing, but rather a thick finger that was cut in half. They should never cook bone in with boneless chicken. Also, no gravy in two of the boxes.

Went two days in a row. First day everything was great and the four tenders I got were decent long and perfectly cooked. Next day, the two of the three fingers were quite small, about thumb size, but certainly not nuggets. Parking can be tight as it is a shared lot with a Subway, taco mex, and gas station.
