Atmosphere Eating inside this Jack in the Box feels less like dining and more like starring in a documentary called “Life on the Streets.” Trying to enjoy a burger while someone stares at you, begging for money or food, is uncomfortable and awkward. Homeless individuals frequently walk in with old, dirty cups and press them against the drink machine to get soda or water. That is not just unsanitary—it’s flat-out gross. Jack in the Box, this is your restaurant. Please get a handle on this problem so customers can actually eat in peace without feeling like they need hand sanitizer for their entire body. Food Once upon a time, your burgers and breakfast sandwiches had substance. They were hearty, flavorful, and worth the trip. Fast forward to 2025: now they’re skimpy, smaller, and taste like they’ve been put on a diet without consent. Prices have gone up while portion sizes have gone down. Simple math says customers are paying more to get less. Instead of fixing the quality, you distract us with promotions like “10 tacos for \$1.” That might sound good until you realize each taco looks like it’s been on a hunger strike. Customer Service Credit where credit is due: the staff here is actually excellent. Friendly, helpful, and they do their jobs well. Unfortunately, great customer service can only go so far. When the atmosphere feels unsafe and the food doesn’t live up to the price tag, no amount of smiling employees can make me want to come back regularly. In short: service = great, food = disappointing, atmosphere =...
Read moreWent on August 9 and I can not believe the audacity of some teenage girl they have working there. I ordered 3 combos all with curly fries and then order an extra curly fries and of course I paid for the extra curly fries as stated on my receipt. When I got my order I was missing the extra curly fries, so I let her know and even tried giving her the bag back so she can check herself. She slammed the little drive thru window and asked something to another worker and then asked for my receipt in which I showed her the extra charge for extra large curly fries and then opens it and says she already gave them to me and I show her the bags and ask her where and she closes the window again and talks to the other worker again and opens up again and tells me with another attitude I know your not missing any curly fries but I'm still gonna give them to you and slams the window at this point I'm like what is going on she is completely insane just give me my fries that I paid for already, Im giving you the receipt I'm showing you the bags so when she comes back to give me the fries, I tell her where's her manager at. She's all talking mess and slams the window and some lady comes out apologizing for that teenagers behavior. I explain to the lady that I was not wrong that they shouldn't have incompetent workers that don't know how to read a receipt. Do better...
Read moreUsed the JITB App on my phone to order. Two minutes after ordering, get an SMS message: "Your order is canceled" and instructions to call the store. I did so. First call, I get a giggling girl who shouts "NO" in the phone and hangs up. Next call on hold for 10 minutes and gave up. Went to my bank, and YUP, they took the money out. So... no food... lost $30.00 .... called again and got some Asian chick claiming to be the manager. She tells me they can't track orders from the App... HUH? Then she tells me I have to get a refund from the App. There is NO SUCH SELECTION on the App. So. Here I sit with my stomach grumbling. I have no idea why the order was cancelled, but I know I've been billed for the order. National site refund only works if you have an order number or receipt. I have neither. So, I've crossed off Jack in the Box. The prices keep going up. The food keeps getting smaller and smaller portions. The service has always been fair at this local JITB, but tonight they just didn't give a flying flapjack whether I was taken care of. Enough to piss me off and never darken their door again, or any other JITB for...
