My first time ever eating at a Shipley Do-Nuts I let them know that and there was no extra welcoming the first time customer. I ordered 2 dozen mix and match then a specialty doughnut. While I waited I took pictures and the baker guy kept giving me very rude, hostile, and dirty looks making me feel uncomfortable as I never took his picture nor even pointed my camera in his direction. The doughnuts were much more expensive than the ones I get near the corner of Fondren and Belfort. The only caviat was the last lady to help me was much more friendly and helpful and said she'd been there for like 20 years. I could tell why. She was helpful and pleasant to deal with. But being brutally honest first impressions are everything with so many doughnut places near by I won't be returning. Overly priced and employees with bad attitudes doesn't = good business for me. As you all know I've got over 10 million views of my pictures alone and do a lot of reviews. This is for sure on the lower end of...

Can't find kolaches in Arizona, though I have been told that they are sold somewhere near me. Very often I am tempted to ask my family if they could ship some to me! As often as I have stopped in to purchase kolaches (only) at this location the staff is friendly enough and the pricing is more than reasonable for a breakfast food. Yet, I wouldn't care if they had a grizzly bear selling those kolaches, I would take a Shipley's kolache over any McDonald's breakfast food anytime! REVIEW UPDATE.. Saturday 15 June 2019. Visiting family and blessed to stop in and purchase one dozen assorted kolaches. Not disappointed with my purchase....

The lady didnāt speak very good English so she thought I just said two donuts I go back in the door and order two dozen donuts and the next lady drops the box on the ground. after I see her drop it on the ground then see her put my food in it. I asked her did drop the container on the ground she said no. I said lady I can see you through the window. I wasnāt as offended that she dropped my food on the ground as I was about her lying like I didnāt see her and then the nerve to even try to serve my food in such a container after you drop it on the ground thatās a whole different level of disrespect. Guess I had to drive a little further for donuts...
