Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Houston

I'm not one to leave reviews like this unless they are deserved. This donut shop is the closest to my house, my kiddos have always asked to stop to get donuts from here but I wasn't able to stop either time. I decided to wake my kiddos up during their summer break to treat them for donuts. Welp, this was the WRONG day and LOCATION for this! This location always seemed to be closed during "business hour". This morning when arriving at 9 something this morning. We were met with a lady who was selecting the donuts who was annoyed that I decided to change ONE freaking donut! When asked to swap out, she scoffed, laughed and was visibly annoyed by reading her facial expressions and sudden slumped body language. How rude and disrespectful. I decided to cancel the purchase because of that. I parked and went inside to let her know that if she's going to have that attitude she shouldn't be working in customer service. She was unable to understand me with the language barrier, but she knew why I was in there. She told the other associate to tell me in english that "now we have to throw them away". I let the lady know that they are having to throw them away because of her attitude, not because of me. And I'm a cocunut and sadly been working on my spanish, but I did my best to let the rude associate know that she should look for another job and that she has to throq them away because of her attitude not because of me. This location will not be getting my money today or any other day for treating a paying...

If I could, I would give this place NEGATIVE stars! I placed a mobile order, got there, told the cashier my name and she wouldn't give me my order because my name didn't match what she had in the ticket. Umm, okay? How is that my fault? I know my own name. She made me give her my order number to "verify" it was me. I even told her what i ordered. She was just giving me a hard time. I ordered a milk and told her I wanted a chocolate milk and she insisted on giving me a white one. She then told her coworker in Spanish that I had an attitude, I confronted her and she didn't like that I spoke Spanish since our conversation was in English. She then put her hand in my face and told me to leave. Miss ma'am, if you do not like your job, why work there? Just plain Rude...

This morning I went to order my son a sausage kolache and the young girl gave me a sausage and cheese kolache. When I went back inside I just politely said if she could give me the sausage kolache that I got the wrong one and she starts arguing with me and told me she gave me what I ordered and starts yelling that I ordered that. I said no I asked for a sausage no cheese. She continues to yell at me and is rolling her eyes I told her that why was she so angry if she could just correct it. I have never experienced service like that. The lady at the cashier even looked shocked because her coworker was yelling at me. Worse service ever. I will never come to this location again. There is a new location a few minutes further out. Y’all don’t waste your time...
