Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Texas

Wow, first I’ll start by saying I came in today on CHRISTMAS of all days. I had just left 3 McDonald’s in which all were attempting to act closed (visibly open with employees going in and out) or move tremendously slow(30 minutes no car had moved). I came to this Jack n the box and not only was the drive thru open but dine in as well. There was a young lady cleaning ( made me feel good about sanitation) and ALL hands on deck behind the counter. There was not 1 but a whole crew diligently working ( and no one appeared to be bothered or annoyed with the pace or that it was holiday )I was quickly helped when I approached the counter I ordered my food and 2:07 and the time when I was leaving out of the parking lot with my food was literally 2:12. The young man at the front was so helpful and had all my sauces in my bag without asking and order made promptly with a great attitude. Upon receiving my food he then wished me a very sincere Merry Christmas, probably the best one I got all day (you truly never know how much the little things count to others!). Never again. I took my family there. To grab a quick bite on our way to choir rehearsal. 15400 Old humble rd. They went inside. 12/2/23 about 5:20pm. I asked them to grab some dipping sauces. My son grabbed two and I believe his mom grabbed two. Instead of just being told that they would have to pay for the other two dipping sauces which we would have gladly paid for. The lady did not know that I and my son understand Spanish. And I actually speak a nice bit myself. It should begin to curse my son. I went back in and I told the young lady at the front I said my son's were talk to ruly behind two dipping sauces. And immediately the woman who had apparently spoken to them, all of a sudden spoke up rudely talking about two extra sauces and like it was the end of the world. But never addressing me as a customer or concerned parent. And if the general manager looks at the cameras you received that I definitely didn't come in to the place aggressively. I would have gladly paid for. I believe she was the manager or supervisor because her shirt was different. If she is the person that's in the lead at that place. And everyone there will be affected by her negativity. Horrible experiences over two...

I usually visit this Jack in the Box because it's close to my job. Tonight around 2:30 am, I ordered food. When the cook handed the food to the clerk, the clerk looked at me and started laughing. She walked towards me with a smile on her face and then handed the food to me. When I got to work, I called the Jack in the Box to express my concerns. When I spoke to the manage, she was very dismissive and told me to keep my receipt. That's when I decided to return to the restaurant to get a refund. When I got there, I asked the clerk what did the cook say to you when he handed the food to you. She didn't answer the question. She said sir I don't even know you and the cook doesn't speak English. The manager said to her don't even stress yourself over that, and closed the window. All three of them went to the back of the restaurant for a couple of minutes. The manager reappeared and told me to come back in the morning to get a refund. She said the district manager will give me a refund.
