Taqueria Don Tin #6 — Restaurant in Houston

Update: I stopped by Presita's food truck across from this food truck and WOW!! The food was delicious and service was awesome!! If you want good food and good service go across street to Presitas food truck .....

I Do NOT recommend this place. We placed an order and noticed that our order number had not been called 30 minutes after placing the order yet they had been calling numbers of other people who got there after us who clearly did not place a phone order because their numbers were after our number (I only had a 45 min. Lunch btw). About 6 or 7 orders were given out to people who came after us. When I asked about the order 30 minutes later, the lady said they were barely making it so I told her go a head and cancel it because I have to go, I can no longer wait so just give me my money back. When I questioned why others were getting their orders a head of me she said they had smaller orders so they automatically jump in front of mine. I was like what? It shouldn't matter the size of the order plus my order were only 3 items. She refused to give me my money back. She called another lady over and she also refused to give me my money back. So i asked for the Owner's phone number so that I could discuss the situation with them and they also refused to give me the owners number. She kept telling me the number was on the sign but that was the phone number to the food truck so if I called they were going to answer. How can you take my money yet not return it when you did not give me my order??? After going back and forth with the lady a different lady gave me our money back. By this time more time had passed by. So all in all after about 50 minutes I did get my money back. She said I was no longer welcomed there anymore, but only an idiot would go back after the service I received! Extremely poor service. She kept repeating that the OWNER would make her pay for the order at the end of the night but again how is that my problem when I received NOTHING?? I hope the OWNER sees this review and re-trains his staff at this food truck. I will say their food is great, but not at the cost of VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Such a...

Went to the taqueria tonight ordered the usual but the lady that was there tonight was a bit rude not only to us but other customers as well which was ehh. Didn't mention the attitude. The lady who took our order was nice, she had the whole "thank you, enjoy" thing going on. The food is alright, the many dishes is definitely creative but the prices are not worth the food. You get a taco the size of Kraft's slice of cheese for $1.50... the waters don't come in sizes instead their pre bottled without ice, the wait is horrible, seriously if you want to give this place a try call in advance.
