Ive been here a few times but my experience was not good the other day. Mario is really nice and accommodating but the other day only the ladies were there. I had to go back and forth with them about salsa... Yes, Salsa!
I ordered two tacos and a breakfast plate - i had only 2 salsas in my bag. I asked for more and the lady told me that was all that I needed.. I explained to her that I had a whole breakfast plate and two tacos - I needed at least two more salsas.
She went to the back and stayed there so I went to the front counter to ask for more. The lady there wanted to argue with me about i only need two. I told her I am the customer you can not tell me what I need - I want two more salsas. I was HIGHLY irritated and annoyed because they put the exact same salsa bottles out on the table for the customers to use but won't give me extra salsa for a to-go order that I paid for.
Because of this - I do not think I will be back because the customer service was terrible and the customer should not be arguing about salsa for paid food.
I will visit the other taqueria instead where I am...
Read moreDon’t get chips and salsa before 11 AM. I’ve gone to this place several times but the waitress did not tell us that chips and salsa would be $4 because it was the morning time. We arrived at 10:30 AM. She then bought us a second set of chips before we were done eating our first and without telling us that was $1.50. Lemons were an extra $1. When I was checking out I was surprised at the total. I told the worker that we had not been informed of the extra cost and if we could be comped. We were literally checking out at 11, the time free chips begins, and the worker said no we could not be compensated and laughed. I’ve come here several times and I don’t think anything is funny about charging me $6.50 for stale chips and salsa and lemons. Might pull / revise my review if the owner makes this right. I’ve been a customer for years, expressed my disappointment, asked for a comp to make it right, and that was declined. Great atmosphere, tasty food, but not telling us that an item that is usually free is going to cost money (and bringing us two batches of it) is so so irritating. Very...
Read moreOn February 25th, 2025, I walked into TAQUERIA EL ROJO LOCO and saw two ladies standing there. One of them, with red lipstick, stared at me and my 4-year-old daughter as if I had something on my face. The other lady greeted me. I started to order, and she started snatching the menu out of my hand because I had no idea where certain items were on the menu. I ordered a burrito for myself and pancakes and eggs for my daughter. I wanted pancakes for myself and asked her the price, but she responded, "Ma'am, those are the prices." First off, I don't see a price! I asked for a manager, but there was none present. I told the lady who greeted me that she had a bad attitude after she shook her head at me. When I told her not to worry about the pancakes, she said she would take my order. I replied that it's okay, I'll go somewhere else because my money is green! If I were Hispanic, I would have been treated differently for sure! That's not fair....
