The drive thru lady needs to be replaced asap. She makes the whole experience even worse than what it usually is by rushing you at the microphone and being ratchet and ghetto towards the customers. I spent over $40 and this lady was disrespectful and unprofessional. First off half the menu is wrote on a paper that's flapping in the wind so how you gonna rush me when ordering I was waiting on the wind to stop blowing so I could read the menu. Then after that I was behind about five cars as usual that's nothing new at all. They charge for every little sauce pack. After so many years you would think they except credit cards but they don't. This place deteriorated over the years with service and with he quality of food.
Update 10/16/23 I went through the drive thru today and the menu sign is fixed and you can actually read it clearly. The lady in the microphone had a better attitude and my food was hot. I did have a issue with the General Tso chicken and I was given a boudain roll instead of a egg roll which it had cheese coming out of both ends. It looked good except that wasn't what the person ordered. All the issues I had were correctly smoothly. I didn't have a problem when I went inside and explained the issue. I appreciate that because prior to this visit I wouldn't have gotten the same response . I feel that the management have stepped up and taken necessary improvements to the staff and food quality. The manager was very professional and...
Read moreI’m practically a regular at this location who comes at least once every two weeks which means I am a consumer who keeps Indy restaurants like this one in business. I noticed the corn nuggets I ordered weren’t in my bag after arriving home which isn’t a big deal to me. I call back and ask for the owner/manager (guy in tux) not because I want a refund or want to come back so I can get my $1 corn nuggets. We all make mistakes and I totally understand that but it’s not about the nuggets. I experience situations like this all the time because I am also a business owner myself and have to deal with employees who make mistakes. I requested to speak to the owner because I know that he is the one who will be able to confront and control his employees of any mishaps that might occur and that they will actually listen to him. If employees aren’t confronted of their mistakes, they will continue to make mistakes knowing that there isn’t punishment. Common sense you can say. For me to request to talk to the owner so I can inform him of this mistake and for him to not even have the decent courtesy to even speak to me seems very unprofessional. Oh well, just speaking from my own personal experience and knowledge. Food is...
Read moreLook I'm a truck driver from Dallas and I had this place years ago and nothing from Dallas has touched it. That red pork in the combo rice is rare. I finally came back here last night ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it didn't disappoint! Hot!!! Good and actually white chicken in every bite. Not just breading. The lobby has been cleaned from last time. It looked like a old Williams chicken or churchs lobby at first all deny with flys, light out and stuff. Flet like an uncomfortable black owned hood restaurant where the owners just going till they get shut down. But now it's like a Asian black restaurant I guess. The black lady at the counter always say oh you got change you should just give me a tip lol. And she says like she talking to herself and it just comes out. Like a harm no foul suggestion and I just act like I ain't hear her. I came to spend $10 not 15. And the cooks should get a tip not the lady giving you your change smh.
Also it's cash only which is annoying. 1st because the lady always wants your change and 2nd I don't ever carry cash. All in all great food! People complain for stupid reasons but never give good reviews when it's...
