To be clear, this IS a review of Bay View restaurant. I see posts of poorer reviews that call out that the poor review is likely for a similarly named restaurant. That alone will keep me from giving this place any further business. service is excellent here. I got biscuits and gravy. Pic showed a very meaty sausage gravy. Price was 10 bucks for 2 biscuits and gravy ("full" order) but no potatoes ($5 more for hash browns). Gravy was flavorful Biscuits were fine. However, very little meat in the gravy. Very disappointing as I always default to giving higher scores. However, one goes to a restaurant to get good food (normally) that tastes really good. I've never been more disappointed in spending $20+ to get dried out chunks of corned beef that were way overcooked and some cabbage just thrown together. It was supposed to be the "special" and I took the waitresses word for it. Nothing special about that St. Patrick's Day meal, gross. I won't be back, especially at the price for terrible quality food. 1 star is being generous. For the record, I have reached out to the company and have not heard back yet so I wrote this review. I wanted to give them an opportunity to make it right before I went public with it. *UPDATE... IT'S BEEN A WEEK AND I HAVE YET TO GET A RESPONSE FROM ANYONE! Our waitress Angie was very polite and connected with me and my friends very well with casual conversation. The atmosphere is cozy and exactly what I look for in a diner. There are some TVs showing seasonal menus and local ads. I ate the egg sausage and cheese sandwich, and I think it was the best one I've ever had. The sausage was phenomenal, and the egg was cooked nicely. My only complaint would just be their potatoes, as I found it lacked the seasoning I was looking for, but that's a personal thing, and they supply you with salt and pepper. My friend got Biscuits and Gravy, and he enjoyed it, as did my friend with his Salmon Eggs Benedict. I'm not in the area for a while, but I'd go again if I had a chance. I'd recommend...
