First time writing a not so pleasant rating. On two occasions I stopped at the Newport, Pa Burger King (big fan of Burger King) on both occasions I ordered the whopper meal which comes with a whopper, fries and/or onion rings, and a drink, both times I ordered small onion rings only to be given fries as I corrected the clerk behind the counter about the order, I was informed that's what the order reads. As I informed the clerk the order was incorrect the manager was called and I explained again to the manager, the manager began to correct the order by pulling out the fries and throwing them in the trash before replacing them with onion rings as originally requested. Once I seen perfectly food being discarded in the trash this way, I asked the manager's why they would throw perfectly good food away after originally creating the error I was informed it was Burger Kings Protocol. Although I'm a big fan of Burger King I'm against wasting perfectly good food especially when the error was created on their end. My take, maybe Burger King should re-educate their manager's on wasting perfectly good food especially during these hard times where people are facing many challenges. For this I give the Newport Burger King 2 Stars ONLY because I like their whoopers and because of...
Read moreCant even give them a star. Ordered food from the drive through and got.30 seconds down the road to open my sandwich to find a piece of gauze with blood. I immediately went back and told them. They acted it like it wasn't from them. Got a call from corporate and offered me a coupon book or a 100 dollar giftcard for giant. When talking to manager from corporate she told me "the person responsible for putting the bandaid there wasn't there but the person handling the lettuce". I want to ask everyone a question is finding a bloody bandage in your fast food equivalent to giving you a 100 dollar gift card to shut you up I guess I should just go to a fast food restaurant and order a bloody bandage and hope I get a chicken sandwich on the side. Would you eat the sandwich if you found that. Last time I checked my condiments bloody bandage was not right next to ketchup or mustard but apparently comes...
Read moreI was a little miffed with this particular visit. My wife and I dutifully donned our masks, went inside and decided to place our order on the touch screen. After going through the process of ordering both of our meals, the machine told us the order could not be placed. We went to the counter and stood there for a good five minutes and we weren't even acknowledged. Finally went through the drive-thru and even then they got my name I had given them for the order completely wrong. I mentioned this to the girl at the window when I paid for our order and she said they were aware the touch screens weren't working. So why not put signs on them? She did apologize for my inside experience and my order was correct so I really can't complain too much. I think they just need to do a little better job at keeping an eye on what's going on...
