I was doing a little riding and ended up here. The salmon was a tad bit too salty and cooked a little longer than I prefer, but still enjoyed the flavor of the meal. My broccoli was cold though. Not warm. Not lukewarm. Cold. So, I assume it was already put in the container while cooking the salmon which sitting there would become cold. The veggie egg rolls were pretty solid & I really liked the Passion Fruit Tea. I asked for onions to be added to my fried rice and they said no. No problem. What I really didn't appreciate was that the chefs/owners both came from the back several times, looked me in the face each time and did NOT acknowledge me whatsoever. I literally was the only one dined-in at that time. Anyone else that came in was there for pick-up. That being said, one of the regulars came in for pick-up (I'll keep race out of it 😉) and they had a full blown convo. 🤔 The son, however, was very nice, professional & apologetic for the broccoli being cold and I appreciate that! Lastly, the condiments on the tables need to be cleaned and changed out. It's highly unsanitary leaving plasticware in the chili oil especially if it's not going to be changed often, or at all. I can tell it's been sitting in there for quite some time. Ok Howe... this is my first experience of the town. Hoping for the best going fwd! 🤞🏽 In the meantime, be careful who you look past/down upon. You never know who's walking into your establishment. 😏

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this little gem in the middle of smalltown Howe, TX. The staff was friendly, and the food was hot, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The fried rice was some of the best I've tasted! The restaurant has indoor and covered outdoor seating available. The music was a bit too loud for my liking, but not horrible. I appreciated that the entire restaurant, including the restroom, was clean and well maintained. We plan to visit again soon!

Food was good. Service was fast and friendly. The menu was sparsley populated so choices limited and no tofu option. Portions were of a decent size in relation to the cost. Will and would go back again. Had: spicy edamame, pan fried noodles(vegie), fried pot stickers, egg rolls, hot and sour soup(pretty mild), red bean steamed dumpling, and Thai tea boba.

Please note the timing for most of the negative reviews on Google…like most service industry businesses and restaurants, this one suffered during the pandemic. However, both prior to and following the pandemic, the reviews are very positive.

Give Hana’s a try, and help keep a small business going! I doubt you’ll be disappointed, as you can see by my review:

Hot and sour soup was SO good, cannot wait to have it again! Egg rolls had a delicious filling, with a rice wrap and size that reminded me more of spring rolls, but they were good and piping hot…so, who cares?

The sides of fried rice looked dark, so I was initially a tad worried, but flavor was great - I did miss the ‘typical’ mix-in of egg and veggies. (Though that’s a good way to get rubbery eggs and overcooked peas and carrots, which was not a problem here!)

Sesame chicken was breaded and fried (didn’t expect that), which kept it steaming hot (just the way I like it!) and it was delicious with some sweetness mixed into the sauce. The beef and broccoli was perfectly cooked. Even the broccoli was still bright green and flavorful, also had a sweetness to the sauce.

Don’t think we’ve ever had meat this tender anywhere!

ONLY reason for my review not being five star is that I would like to see more purely savory meat dish choices, as I am very sensitive to sugar, and the underlying sweetness to both of our main courses would not be my first choice.

Small detail: the soy sauce on the tables is better than most restaurants (maybe because it isn’t slapped with the Kikkoman label like everywhere else?). If I didn’t know how labor and time intensive making soy sauce was, I just might wonder if they made their own. Whatever they use, it’s better and more flavorful than the norm.

Still, I can’t wait to go back! Want to try the pan fried noodles other reviewers have raved about, as well as the beef and noodle soup. The eminently fresh veggies, tender beef and delicious soup we had already should be amazing mixed together with noodles!

We weren’t there on a busy night, but service was fast and friendly without being intrusive. In-restaurant seating is very casual, with chunky wooden benches and tables Comfy enough for a meal, unless you require a back on your chair. Parking on the south side of the building takes you into a ‘back’ door - just keep walking through the next doorway, and you’ll be in the main part of the...

We placed an order online, charged it to our cc, received confirmation and a pickup time. We received a text stating our order was ready for pickup. We arrived only to be told we ALREADY picked it up. We DID NOT pick it up. She made us feel like criminals as she called the person they gave our food to so she could verify we had not picked it up. And then she proceeds to tell the people to bring our food BACK to the cafe for us. SERIOUSLY!!! We aren’t eating food after it has been handled by these people.! She kept describing the man that picked up our food insisting that we knew him. NO, we do not. This is INSANE. We requested a refund and were told our card would be credited but they would not give us anything stating they are issuing a refund. BAD business practice and TERRIBLE customer service. We always try and support local but we refuse to be treated like a criminal ESPECIALLY when it was THEIR MISTAKE. Never again will we visit this place. And the worst part is they were...
