Sweet Eats Bakery — Restaurant in Howell Township

I visited this bakery a while back and was very impressed and pleased with my experience! I tried four different items, starting with the Snicker cookie, which was delicious. The outside was crispy, the center was soft, and it had a wonderful Snicker flavor with a hint of graham cracker. My brother, who isn't even a big cookie fan, said it was one of the top three best cookies he's ever had.

My personal favorite was the cannoli cream-filled donut. This donut was absolutely AMAZING! It was soft, warm, and creamy, and the cannoli filling was high quality. I would definitely recommend it. The person at the front took the time to explain all the donuts, which was very nice.

My friend got the croissant filled with chocolate. She said it was good, but the filling tasted a bit like cream cheese, which was unexpected for her. The last thing I tried was the tiramisu cup. It was really good, with nicely balanced flavors and obvious freshness. My friend loved it so much she almost ate the whole thing before I got a taste!

While getting a delicious chicken cheese steak at Jersey Mike's my daughter stopped here to get us the ice cream cupcakes advertised in the window. There were quite limited flavors and the guy was impatient for my daughter to make her order, although she was the only customer.

This sweet treat was a 2 1/2" cupcake with about 3/4-1" of vanilla cake topped by a scant 1/4" of cookie crumbles with 1/2" of melting ice cream on top of it. It was topped off with some type of piped topping - not icing, not whipped cream and not terribly tasty. It had a very soggy bit of Oreo stuck in the top. The taste was ok, and the cookie crumbles saved the cake base from becoming a soggy mess from the not quite frozen ice cream. It wasn't worth the $5...
