I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rumors for the first time, and I was very impressed. I started with the crab cakes appetizer, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. For my main course, I had the steak frites, and the steak was cooked to my exact liking. The fries were also crispy and delicious.

In addition to the great food, Rumors also has a friendly and attentive staff. The service was excellent, and my server was always happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.

Beautiful setting in brick historical building with aged real wood floor with bar area fitting right into this. Doorway view and window view into kitchen area. Staff was very kind when I was there with my neice. This was the first time we both went there!! Staff greeted us very nicely and asked that we please come back​ when in Hudson Michigan again!! We enjoyed our foods which we very large portions. Coffee was great in my cup as was her soda pop which was served in large glass. I took the staff recommended dessert home when we left. This is one of eateries we like, their BBQ burger is stacked not something for those only wanting a quick meal. Our last visit, Sunday, was not one of their/our best. One waitress, but she did an excellant job. They had job opening sign out front. I think they were short handed in kitchen as well. The BBQ pulled pork plate had issues with the BBQ pork. Barely warm and greasy as you got best bottom of stack. Having eaten here before, this was surprising. Wife had a dinner salad. It was nothing like her last one. This one had lots of lettuce, very little else. All this makes me think this is due to short staff trying to keep up with orders. Would I go back again? Yes!!
