Great find near Lander! Loved the old timey vibe of the decor and overall ambiance of this restaurant. Dinner was absolutely delicious; from the Relish plate to the cabbage rolls (with the sauce from the raviolis). The salad was a little underwhelming (chopped ice berg lettuce with sparse shredded carrots and purple cabbage slaw) but the blue cheese dressing made up for that! Steak and prime rib were very generous portions, and the fried chicken was good and juicy. Loved that there was cool air blowing from under the table as it was in the 80’s outside. Will definitely have to come back when in the area!

The food is great and the portions are amazing, if you are a blue cheese lover then this is the place for you. The meals include a salad, a homemade ravioli, a sarma (beef cabbage roll), a dinner roll, and finally your steak and side. The food is always good and filling however the steaks always range in doneness depending on who is cooking. I usually order just under what I would prefer seeing as it usually is over cooked. Additionally some steaks can be very under seasoned. But in the end it is a great restaurant for the area with classic decor and very reasonable food.

For a tiny town on a lonely Wyoming highway, this restaurant serves a mighty big steak. I ordered the t-bone and had to split it with my daughter. And we still had some to take home with us. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the appetizers to the meal that comes from the founder’s original recipe collection. The atmosphere fits the history of the area and the restaurant. So come ready to fill up with some good home cooking and be ready to relax.

I was Completely disappointed and embarrassed all in the same evening. Thursday Oct 17th I took my family and friends of mine in for my birthday dinner, I ordered the steak and crab legs, which is $115.00. That's a lot of money, my friends wife ordered the same thing. First off it came out and the crab legs were a DISCRACE, I was given 2 leg points and an extremely small claw, my friends wife recieved the same. It was like they broke off the main leg section of the crab leg to either give to another customer or they were completely out of crab legs and they gave us the scraps in the box. My steak although it was cooked correctly, whoever cut it cut it horrible. It was cut like a wedge literally missing half the steak. My sons steak was 8 to 10 oz. At most, it was supposed to be thier 14 oz . My father's steak was supposed to be the 14oz also, his was every bit of 20 to 24oz.!! ALL of our baked potatoes had this BLACK WORM thing in the middle of them. My friends wife is a recovering alcoholic and asked for seller and Cranberry juice, they gave her a WHITE CLAW AND CRANBERRY JUICE!! WE FOUND OUT WHITE CLAW HAD ALCOHOL IN IT AFTER SHE HAD BEEN DRINKING IT!!!. This COMPLETELY RUINED MY ENTIRE BIRTHDAY. THANK YOU SVILARS !! I Honestly Don't think I will be Coming to your establishment anymore, it's unfortunate because it was one of my favorite...

I really want to be more kind to this place but the overall experience was just not that great. I'm not local so maybe my view point should be taken with a grain of salt if you live in the area. The exterior is rustic Wyoming looking which is charming. As you walk into the bar it's the look you would expect. The dinning area needs an upgrade. I don't dock it points for that, the "ambiance" is not probably why folks eat here and I was fine with that. The service was very good. This review is post-Covid and they were trying to adapt. I will say everyone tried their hardest to do their best. Based on how hard they tried with no doubt limited staff I'm sure in normal times they are awesome. So now the food. It was good. The salad was fair. Their blue cheese dressing is unique. A little too different for me but I could see how many could love it. Dinner is served with ravioli and cabbage rolls both of which left much to be desired. The steak was served with baked potato. The steak was solid. Seasoned well and cooked perfectly. But the potato was served over done and without dressings other than butter and sour cream. Price was a little high relative to the overall experience. I had a nice time but a little...

The prime rib was good, nice and tender prepared medium, but the menu price was mis-represented by $9 when I got the actual bill. I've seen menu prices differ by a couple of dollars before when no-one gets around to updating the prices, but I've never seen that much. The service was good (at least for me) considering there seemed to be only one waitress for the whole restaurant and the place filled up quickly after I got there at 6:00 on a Tuesday. The lady who seemed to be either the manager or the owner was taking some drink orders, a girl was bringing out vegetable trays and taking care of the checks but I can't recall seeing anyone run plates of food to the tables besides the one waitress. A large private party was seated in a room off the main dining area and they started poking their heads out the door to see if anyone was going to take their food order. Seems like the poor waitress was overworked and the duties could be spread a little more evenly across the available staff. Overall, the food and service were good, but I've had better prime rib that didn't cost anywhere near $40.95. Would rate 5 stars but for the large...
