The Mill — Restaurant in Hughes Springs

We ordered a few things from the menu. Was told it would be ready in 10 min.. it was 20.. no biggie. Porkchop was a bit dry but it had been in the hot box for a while...so.. that's a gamble I may take again. Haha. The catfish was a bit overcooked & we believe the fries were reheated. Upon time to pickup, the cashier had her back to the counter so it created a line. She was apparently doing her tobacco order over the phone & wouldn't acknowledge anyone waiting. (Yes. She saw us) Again, no biggie until you consider all of our food getting cold/soggy as we waited. I'd suggest the mill to others only on days the stock doesn't need to be...

Go drop $50 or more on food everytime I go there to be informed by employees while sitting in my truck eating the food that was bought from there that the owner had called and said that we had to leave...the owner watches the cameras at 3 or 4 am and wants to have his employees run paying customers off..I'd recommend Topps in daingerfield over this high priced money pit ran by a troll...worst treatment I've been given as a paying customer anywhere and refuse to spend anything more there...

Oney's one stop in Hughes Springs is about the slowest place you can get something to eat. I'm literally still waiting for a grilled ham and cheese. Ordered over 45 minutes ago and Still waiting. This is not the service I paid a ridiculously high price for two pieces of bread,a piece of ham and a piece of cheese product. I would not, do not recommend anyone who wants to be served in a timely manner to come here because there is little to no chance of...
