Feedback on Recent Visit to Subway Location in Hugo
Dear Subway Manager,
I am writing to share my recent experience at your Subway location in Hugo, which was unfortunately less than satisfactory. During my visit, I ordered a Turkey Avocado Bacon wrap, as listed on the menu#40.
Initially, there was some confusion about the order. The staff member, who appeared to be new, mistakenly asked for my choice of bread despite it being a wrap. After clarifying, there was an oversight in warming the flatbread, a usual step that enhances the taste of the wrap.
Furthermore, I noticed issues with hygiene practices. The staff member handled the receipt paper while preparing my wrap without changing gloves or washing hands, raising concerns about contamination. Additionally, after reminding the staff to include avocado—which was initially forgotten—there was further confusion about the proper assembly of the wrap, as pointed out by another employee.
As a former Subway employee at DinkyTown a busy location managed by Edi and Jerry, I understand the challenges and the importance of thorough training, especially regarding food safety and customer service. I believe the staff at your Hugo location would benefit from additional training to meet Subway's standards for quality and service.
Thank you for considering...
Read moreThe employees here never listen. I've even complained to corporate about them and nothing has changed. I've stopped going here despite the store being 3 blocks from house and drive the 15 minutes to the lino lakes subway instead. There's one employee whom I always run into and she is just an absolute space cadet. She stares out the window while mindless making my sandwich, almost always puts on the wrong cheese or starts making the wrong kind of sandwich because she forgets or wasn't listening, doesn't spread the veg the way she's supposed to and when I ask for just a little bit of sauce, she practically drowns my sandwich regardless of my request. She's even forgotten when one of our sandwiches was in the oven and mega over cooked it but still tried to give it to us. Like no, start over girl. There's never a manger around either which is really frustrating. The girls here are either moving at a snails pace or distracted with their own conversation. I get this isn't a dream job and I don't mind employees chatting while they work but come on, you could still try, you're making sandwiches, how hard is it? Put a little effort into your work and stop acting like it's so god awful to be there. I wish subway corporate would step in and just shut this one down already. It's...
Read moreI have been here a few times. There is an employee there that is rude to her other coworkers, her name is sahar? I believe! In front of myself and a couple other customers made another employee cry and bullied her basically. - management needs to get this taken care of. I honestly believe the work place shouldn’t be for bullying and treating employees and hire ups rudely in front of customers. It makes people not want to come back, and their experience not the greatest. I don’t remember the girls name she bullied and was rude to talking back. I feel bad for this girl. (Bullying isn’t okay)!!! Also, being rude to a girl named Alyssa, I believe as well was asked her the girls name with an s today to help customers when I walked in today, she refused and I believe she was taking bread out for fresh bread…… this is not an good working environment, felt like there wasn’t much help while another worker was busy doing what they needed to do for some of us to have bread. Honestly I walked out. This is very disappointing for myself because I like subway, and now I feel like I won’t come back to see this again. If I do come back and this happens again I will be messaging corporate to handle to manager and this rude...
