Kelly’s Cafe — Restaurant in Humboldt

Food was served hot and cooked well. The flavor was good. Standard menu options. Was surprised at the quality of service. Our table was doing quite a bit of talking and not focused on ordering right away. The server was very accommodating and gave us time and space to visit. The server was very prompt on returning to the table, without being flagged down, when we had decided on food. When the server engaged with us they were friendly, chatted, and very jovial. The atmosphere was a bit dark, the decor was dated, there were two very large televisions on one wall. For a small town hole-in-the-wall, greasy spoon, I recommend trying...

Clean and food was good. Waitress was very rude and not just too our table, but she was sweet as can be to a table of men...perhaps regulars. Friend asked what something on the menu was. Instead of asking the cook her response was "I don't know" and the shrugged her shoulders. Very off putting way to start the visit. We ordered a cheeseburger pizza and it looked nothing like the photo. Appeared we got a beef pizza. Oh well. Worked for a quick bite in an area with no options. Went there the 16 of Oct. to try their buffet. It was a joke. They only had a few items on the buffet. They charge you $14.95 pure person to eat there. You don't see the price on the menu. To high for the price and small selection of food they offered. To high of prices for a small town. Won't be back. Fair warning take alot of cash with you to eat there. Our bill was around 50 for 3 people. 2 adults and a child....
