Pizza King — Restaurant in Huntertown

Since I live nearby I figured I would give this Pizza King a chance since it has been years since I last ate at one and in the past I always remember it being good. Well to start off with I was told my Pizza would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I show up 25 minutes after ordering and they said they just put it in the oven. So I wait another ten minutes which isn't the end of the world. I get my royal feast head home which is less than a mile from this location expecting my Pizza to be blazing hot and scrumptious. Once I opened the box the cheese looked barely melted with the crust not being very crispy, plus the toppings were distributed very inconsistently as well some pieces were loaded while others barely had any toppings. This Pizza could have easily needed another 5 minutes in the oven. I almost returned it but the kids were hungry. I can honestly say this is last time I order pizza king. I had ordered online in the morning for an eleven oclock pickup to make sure I could have it ready to go for my daughters birthday. I received a message saying the order would be delayed 15-20 minutes. Totally fine! I adjusted my pickup time accordingly. I head in at the new adjusted time and my order wasnt even in the oven let alone done. In fact, my order was next in line. I was told to come back in 20-30 minutes. I was frustrated, but what could I do? I come back at the new time and still my order was not done. Now Im told that my order was just put in the oven and I needed to wait another 10-15 minutes. Now Im angry, so instead of leaving I waited in the parking lot and watched as orders that had been placed after mine, by cars I watched order in front of me as I waited the first time, come back and be fulfilled. Called at 21:58 last evening. Asked what time they closed, he said 10. Howbeit, he’d still take my order, as I actually rang before 10!

I was thinking darn, that doesn’t happen everyday… Took my order and honored my coupon…

When I arrived, (drive thru), I was helped by a polite, kind and well spoken young lady. She came back with my receipt. I said, ma’am I wanted to tip you on that card, I don’t have/carry cash money. She said, well thank you and it’s actually okay. I thought again, wow, this is great! I asked her name and said, I won’t forget it and next time, I’ll tip you double. She said, it Alice with an N, Alicen! She said again, honestly don’t worry about it but thank you and enjoy your pizza.

My food was hot. My order was specially ordered, as I’m picky too. 100% perfect! Thank you to them again. Alicen, I appreciate you young lady!
