Having lived in Texas, Kentucky, and Indiana, can confirm this is the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to. If you want to order something, you might as well write the entire order out, including each ingredient of the meal, have it notarized, signed in triplicate, and delivered via telegram to make sure they get your order correct. Im sure you're thinking, oh, maybe this person just has really weird requests like, switch out this cheese for that and no mayo and extra ketchup. No, unfortunately this Dairy Queen cannot handle adding ingredients to the burgers that are standard for said burger. You might order the flamethrower and get no cheese at all, you might order the 1/4 pounder and there are no vegetables on it at all. You can say "I'll get the #5, large, with a root beer" and get home to find there are no fries at all. But I had learned after my 3rd time of not getting fries that I couldnt rely on the person taking the order to understand that I want the WHOLE meal, not just most of it. I defaulted to "#3 with a large dr. pepper and a large fry", when I pulled ahead I was handed a bag, and told to have a nice day. I waited until they opened the window again to say "was there anything else?" Now having worked in the food, retail, and service industry, I understand things can get a little crazy, and despite constantly receiving bad service, there was no reason for me to take it out on this guy, so I just said "oh, my dr. pepper, sorry". The kid quickly made me one, I said "thanks a ton, and sorry again!" and drove off. I got home, once again found no fries, checked the receipt, and found that they hadnt even charged me for a fries or drink. Despite deliberately saying what I wanted, they didnt even add it to the order. In a sea of 340+ reviews, I know this wont make a dent, but as someone who just moved to the Huntingburg area, I can promise you you'll have an easier time at any other food...
Read morePublicly humiliated when the employees all said I was fired when I was never contacted by any manager or supervisor about why or when I was fired. Completely unprofessional. With my experience working here the fryers were never cleaned out, I worked here for a month. After the burger patties were fried they were put in containers that were sometimes left open for flies to land on and were then microwaved after condiments were put on, the middle was often cold. We would make icecream after icecream with the blenders without cleanimg them until we got a break from customers. I was barely in training so I had to ask for help all the time. Training is supposed to last 2 weeks but the woman who trained me just talked about drama. She showed me how to work the cash register and someone else taught me how to make blizzards. I practically learned by watch I g what other people did instead of being trained, this was also my first job so I never worked before in my life. The manager was nice but listened to the words of an employee who is knowned to lie about other employees especially newbies she would say I didn't do things that I did do. I cleaned bathrooms filled the ice for the soda dispincer. We didn't really clean the drink dispenser in the drive thru. We stuck the drink spouts in carbonated water instead of cleaning them thoroughly. I wasn't allowed to cook, "its a mans job" the women do everything else but cooking and the men do nothing else but cooking, UNFAIR! I was often bullied there and nothing was done to prevent it. I would come home very upset every night, my mental health was at stake! What I have to say about this place is, it is very disorganised and I am glad I do...
Read morei’ll start off with the good. we got the whole order and it was hot. that’s it though. the rest was terrible. it was full of high schoolers who were messing around the whole time joking and laughing. i went through the drive through with 2 cars in front of me. that’s it. the person in front of me ordered 3 blizzards. we ordered 2 combos and a blizzard and a slushy. we sat in the drive through for a total of 24 minutes behind the car that ordered the blizzards. then it was 10-15 more minutes for us to get our order. while sittin outside the window, we were getting dirty looks from two girls at the window who never spoke a word. we wouldn’t be so upset if they had just said “hey we are running a little behind. i’m sorry for the wait” but instead we saw them joking and laughing around and giving dirty looks. will never be going back and highly recommend against anyone else going there either. i’ve been through a lot of bad fast food experiences but i’ve never felt so terrible about my experience with one and never felt the need to leave a review. i hope the manager sees this and takes into account the lazy, disrespectful employees that customers...
