Doing business in the area I wanted to beat the lunch rush. I am glad I came. I ordered a small chicken jalapeño pizza. It came to $12.90. I paid an extra $1.00 for the second topping which is aggressively priced throughout.
Man o man, the seats are so jumbo I can fall asleep in one of these dining booths. Air is flowing nicely in and out at this pizza italian restaurant. It is indeed an old-fashioned, but the vintage appearance looks appropriate.
The service initially was bad. The man didnt say anything polite. My wife's good customer service character comes along everywhere we go and has a nice effect on people. The air was dull and still is. Once the pizza was done. A man yelled at me in the distance that its done. I had no gloves to touch the aluminum round tray. The pizza looked great, cut great, very crunchy and not piping hot which is good. The after taste its not harsh on my palate now.
I want to end a great visit by saying work on receiving new customers with positive attitude and maybe help bring out some of favorite items but anything than standing there waiting to order feeling this need for me to hurry up. I had to fetch for some napkins to take the pizza to my table. I went back to get a fork.
I dont know if I can call this a must come. Its an active spot for resident I can see that. But not too get...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS PIZZA PLACE THRU GIG APPS!! This restaurant will take one look at a driver and think that he steals orders so they try to make the driver swipe to confirm pickup before giving them the order. This is a practice that should either be done to employees and not independent contractors OR kept on the DoorTrash platform. This trash restaurant seemed to think I was DOORTRASH even though I specifically said GrubHub. With GrubHub orders, restaurants are already paid for these PRE-PAID orders. I call them DoorTrash because they don’t pay the restaurant until after the driver swipes their phone to pickup the order. I find that practice to not only be offensive to someone who is not on that app, I believe it’s racial discrimination for them to try to employ an unlawful anti-theft policy on a black driver. I have no idea if they actually do this to everyone however they shouldn’t be doing it at all because that is managing our status in the app and we are not their employees. If they want confirmations they should hire their own drivers. So I left the order, I’m reporting the restaurant for harassment and I added the restaurant to my banned list within the GrubHub app so that I do not get paired with them in the future. Read moreSo, was with friends and we got into a debate on meatball sandwiches. We were trying to figure out who has the best ones in the area. Massimo's didn't win that day, but I only come here now. The meatball sandwich they sell is incomplete in my and my friend's opinion. It just needs extra sauce and that makes it the best. So, order a meatball sandwich, get extra sauce and you will easily have the best meatball sandwich for at least 10 miles around. I haven't had the pizza, it looks pretty good. The guys working here are nice and friendly. I really enjoy watching a few of the pros prepare the dough for the pizzas, it looks so easy, but if you are really good it looks effortless. You can watch them make your food, place is setup so can watch what is going on in the kitchen. Lots of parking, accessibility is a minor issue for seating only. Shop isn't real big, so ordinarily you won't have issue getting to any seat, but if you have a walker or chair you will want to take a moment considering where you will sit. Will come here again, like I said best meatball sandwich...
