It was very sad because I wanna like this place so bad with the great location plus the wonderfully delicious and huge margaritas which I had three of, but for the most part I was not happy with the food which was colder than the margaritas we were served. The manager comes out and just asked simply what happened and what can we do to fix it and I explained well If I can have what I ordered served to me correctly by applying all the Modifications to my order and at a temperature to where I won’t get sick. The manager then took my plate walked away didn’t say yes that will be right out or your meal Is going to be free today plus a free desert nothing, there was literally silence for at least 5 minutes whiskey we waited she came back with the same plate of food and popped in the microwave which is even more unacceptable than the previous issues. So at this point I got up went to the host and asked for the tab for the whole table so I could pay for what was left on the ticket and leave she had it taken my food or my boyfriend’s food off that were both ice cold. So we wait for her at the front door she shows us a ticket and rips it up and say, “does that make you happy sir and by the way you are impossible to please.” Then I turned around to this horrible woman I didn’t do anything wrong I just wanted my food remade for my guest and myself because quesadillas are not supposed to be served cold that’s all you are the one who didn’t explain what you were going on do going forward with the ticket price with both of our meals because I would not pay for cold food either so I told her exactly what I needed and was still planning on tipping our server 40% which is where I usually where I start and then the compensation may go up or down or stay stagnant depending on the server and what they do when they have to explain a problems ours did a wonderful job by telling us that the kitchen was behind and that the quesadillas came out cold because they were made before the three other entrees were even started to make and I agreed because I was very surprised that the kitchen didn’t have the common sense to make the fasted preparations of food last so that nothing gets cold on the tray. So In conclusion I won’t be returning even if the staffing were to change just because I don’t like being treated like a teenager when I’m a grown man who is spending his hard earned money on this place of business and was treated like a bratty 10 year old crying about her Mac n’ Cheese so needless to say I payed for all five entrees because she refused to take them off because I was rude to her which I was not at all she barely let me get a sentence out before judging the situation to see what really happened rather than making me look foolish that at 10:45 PM when they closed at 11:00 PM we came rather late and ruined her evening and then I lost it and threw the card slip towards her direction and gave the server a $25 gratuity on a $74.65 check and now I write this review as almost a rant for which I sincerely apologize for but thus story must be put to public so hopefully this will never happen to another guest...
Read moreStaff is generally friendly and has what appears to be a good rapport with locals. Food is average. The place can be super packed some nights. Also, I have decided to rate Mexican restaurants version of Camarones Diabla (hot shrimp) entree. I'd give Guadalajara's version, on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best I've ever had and couldnt have better, a 3.825. I want to give it a 4 because of the smokey flavor (I suspect bacon), but the average sides prevent me from doing so. I really have to mention their burgers and fries. My wife could eat Mexican food 3 times a day, 7 days a week. My palette gives up after 2 times a week. So I ordered the kids burger one night and wow, I was amazed. Its a standard high school burger, but they use the queso cheese. The fries are amazing. I'm thinking they use the same oil in which they fry their chips - could be wrong tho. We no longer frequent Guadalajara, but if we ever go back I'd be torn between the burgers...

Came in with a to go order and normally they let me pay even if my foods not ready so I can get it and go... however today I waited 10 mins in line to pay for my food, which I didn’t mind they were busy, but he wouldn’t let me pay for my food even though it was almost ready and I got a little upset because I didn’t want to go and wait back in line that was going to be another 10 minute wait and when i moved out of line he got real rude and said that since I was guna get all mad to come on and pay since I wanted to get mad about it. I didn’t appreciate his attitude about it and how he continued to say that “since I was guna get mad.” I was flustered on waiting another 10 minutes and he didn’t have to get so rude.
