Hardee's — Restaurant in Huntsville

My husband and I visited this location week ago stopping around 11 we placed our order waited 25 minutes went to the counter and they said it wasn’t ready and that they were in the middle of a changeover from breakfast to lunch. I asked why hadn’t we’ve been told and they just shrugged their shoulders and said he didn’t know he was fixing to leave. So I asked if we could get some breakfast they didn’t have any of that ready either so we left. I called the district manager who said please come back and try us again She said have a meal voucher waiting for us so I stop tonight to get it. When I pulled in the manager on duty had her headset on for the drive-through but was parked outside the front door smoking a cigarette. I went in told the gentleman at the counter what I was there for and he said he would go outside and get manager. she came in and fix my food I when back to my truck where the gentleman was now parked at the front door smoking his cigarette. I drove home open my box of chicken tenders they’re not even done all the way I can’t eat them for fear of food poisoning The cookie that came with the $5 meal box we could probably play hockey with. Great burgers & fries. One of my favorite cheeseburgers & fries for affordable fast food. Glad to find a Hardies in south Huntsville. When we moved here 3+ years ago ( 3/2019), we drove from the Atlanta airport, & the first fast food restaurant we tried in Alabama was a Hardies, in a small town south of lake Guntersville. There are no Hardies in the state we were from. We were impressed with the Thick burgers, & staff was friendly. That's not always been our subsequent experience in fast food restaurants in Huntsville. Since covid & the resulting staffing shortage adjustments, finding an open restaurant, a "good burger" and fast service has been a challenge. So we were happy to discover your Hardies so close to us, with he friendly staff & those affordable good burgers and fries. We enjoy the fresh vegetables on a burger. We don't usually go south of Redstone Blvd & the Parkway, but one night we did. And there you guys were! We did return one subsequent night, but you were closed due to staffing, but we'll try again.

Update: 7-16-25. Dropped by on a lark. Keep forgetting it's here bc we live up by Airport Blvd. We ordered a couple burgers & ate them in the parking lot. . Loaded with great produce. Well cooked. I come here often & usually don’t have issues. But this time… boy do i have some. First, after every single item i said over drive thru they told me to wait, and then would pop back up and restart. Not that big of a deal.. whatever. Then.. I sit at the window about 10 min without any interaction(normal here). Finally they give me my stuff but i told them i was missing a drink. gave it to me, so i leave. swoop back around because i was also missing a fry. The manager is already at the window waiting for me to tell me that the tenders i ordered do not come in a combo. (even tho they asked what i wanted to drink with it) we argue for a second because i have literally gotten that combo before at least 3x. & so i pay for a large fry but i waited over 20 minutes for that one fry. there was SO much attitude from your “manager” . & what makes me the most mad is that they were just going to let me leave without drink & fry without telling me about it at all.

Now, one more thing. I have a non verbal autistic child, and i’ve gotten the kids meals the last two times, it has just been stuffed into our bag & there hasn’t been any toy/puzzle at all. Made the whole...
