My husband and I came here for the first time yesterday after seeing some positive reviews. We each ordered a burrito, which unfortunately made both of us sick. This was disappointing as we were both really excited about trying this place. Even with the food getting us both sick, we still didn't want to cross off the restaurant completely and perhaps give it another try at some point down the line, but did want to request a refund for the poor experience we had. The manager I spoke to on the phone was extraordinarily rude about the refund request right away and is why my husband and I will not be returning again at all. Instead of apologizing for the experience we had, he proceeded to tell me over the phone that we should have just gone to the hospital if we were sick and finally to come get my refund and then not to come back again, among other things. Never have I been met with such 0 customer service from management. He very half heartedly said "sorry for your experience" when picking up my refund in person, but how he spoke to a customer over the phone was absolutely abysmal, I guess it's much easier to be completely unkind to someone over the phone. Will not be returning here again and would...
Read moreNestled between Route 31 and Elmwood Court, Bella Vista emerges. It boasts a red and gray exterior with colorful signs on the windows. Inside it's adorned with all sorts of Mexican inspired memorabilia. It definitely has that authentic Mexican restaurant feel when you walk in.
The tacos were tasty. Definitely some of the better tacos I've had within the area. You'll get a double tortilla, a big portion of meat, and a nice ratio of toppings. I noticed the cut of onion was ever so slightly bigger than what I normally see, giving more of a crunch, which I didn't mind.
Though it might not look like it, they also have a drive thru. It's not 100% obvious, even though they have a pretty large drive thru sign haha. The set up is interesting. There's no divider between the drive thru lane and parking spaces so it just looks like a big lot. Also, no intercom, you just drive up to the window, they take your order and then drive around to the opposite side of the building, where there is another window, where you pick up.
Overall, the tacos were good, service was good, and definitely worth making the trip if you're looking for good tacos and an authentic...
Read moreThis the most delicious place I have been to not only are you welcomed the moment you walk in but the food is amazing. I love the way the chef puts so much Flavor to his dishes. I stated going to this location since June of last year and I can honestly say I have tried everything in the menu well at least most of them and I can guarantee you, you won’t be disappointed. I have to say my favorite dish would be either their Mexican burger or their taco salad combonation of steak and chicken. Or if your not afraid of trying something new. The chef offers you their plate of the day. I have to admit at first I was skeptical since I am usually the person who goes to places and knows what to get and I stick to it. But let me tell you one day I came in and decided to have it it was amazing not only is the plate the chef gives you delicious but it’s different every time, it’s his own creation and you can’t even find it on the menu. It’s delicious ! Also don’t forget to get your traditional drink agua de horchata. Definitely going to keep coming! Thank you for all you do bella vista keep providing delicious food and amazing...
