Catfish - Chicken - Sandwiches - Gyros & More — Restaurant in Illinois

As of about an hour ago I ordered 20 wings to be delivered, however when the order was delivered I had only received 19 wings. I called the restaurant and told the gentleman that answered, and he told me “No, I gave you 20 wings”, basically calling me a liar. I repeated myself stating “No, you gave me 19 wings, I wouldn’t be calling you had you actually given me 20 wings. He then goes on to say “Ok, well you can stop by anytime and I’ll make you your ONE wing”. As a consumer, you’ve insulted me by basically calling me a lair over a wing. Then instead of you bringing me the wing that I paid for, you tell me that I can stop by to pick up a wing that was suppose to be delivered to me. Forgetting that I paid you $4.99 for all my food to be delivered to me at one time. But, no you suggest that I get in my car, drive and waste unnecessary gas to pick up what was suppose to be delivered to me. How inconsiderate is that? Not one time did he apologize. Not one time did he offer anything for the inconvenience. You giving me the wing that I paid for is your reasonable service. You’re not doing me a favor. I will never order anything from this place again. How disrespectful can you be? I mean if the tables were turned would you want someone to do you like that? I don’t think so..... To treat paying customers like this baffles me!!!...

I rarely leave reviews but I think this one is warranted.. I’ve lived in Burr ridge for 20 years and haven’t been here in several years. My kids wanted fried chicken and fried shrimp for dinner and this is the only place in the area I could think of. I walked in and a young guy at the counter greeted me telling me him and his dad were the new owners and they revamped the menu and recipes. I asked for a few orders of shrimp and chicken wings and he told me they were sold out of the shrimp.. I asked how could they be sold out of shrimp at 7:30 on a Friday. He apologized and said since they took ownership they’ve been selling out of shrimp almost every night because of their new recipe so they’ve been selling out like crazy. He recommended I tried their catfish, obviously the place is called catfish but I don’t like catfish, he assured me if I didn’t like it he’d comp my entire shrimp dinner next time, so I took his word on it. He went back and cooked it himself and brought it out. My family absolutely loved his catfish and chicken wings and needless to say I like catfish now. Can’t wait to try their shrimp. I have seen 2-3 changes or different owners at this location but so far this management is doing better than the previous ones. This is a fast food restaurant it is Economical place getting better last couple of time chicken was better than my earlier experiance. I order the 8 or 10 piece deal which is around $10-$12 good value. I like white meat but when I ordered last time they only had legs and thigh. Fried chicken was actually not bad it wasn't greasy or overcooked it was of right color and a little crispy as well. The piece of cheap bread was unnecessary it was like raw dough by the time I got home and opened the box. Siddes are a little expensive and also the portion size of the sides are really tiny for what they charge. I ordered Coleslaw it was good it was not overly creamy or sweet which is perfect. If they can improve the sides quality and portion size they will easily get 1 more star. I will try this place again and if they they improve I will increase...
