One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Springfield. The Magic Kitchen has been owned and operated by the same family for 35+ years. It is a super casual, no frills spot with delicious authentic Thai food. They don't serve alcohol but you can byob. And, they don't accept any type of credit or debit card but "will gladly accept cash or a local check". My personal fave is the Cashew Chicken -Hot. A wide varied menu with a large array of all Thai items with some hard to find items (Jackfruit Sticky Rice for one). You are welcomed to carry in your own alcohol and enjoy at your table, BYOB style. Cash only, no credit or debit. See the complete menu in the pictures in this review. All in all I would highly recommend Thai food at The Magic Kitchen. Well done to the staff and crew....

The workers informed us there was a sign on the door indicating this, but after a double check we found there was indeed no sign. We had to dig around for all the loose change we could find to pay. This was a year ago, so maybe they've improved, but be warned about...
